Al was so pleasant to work with, so kind and so excited for our marriage and wedding while discussing our plans to have a tiramisu cake instead of a traditional wedding cake. It came out even more beautiful than I could’ve imagined & tasted even better! It was such a hit with our guests, too. Thank you so much, Al!
I can not believe how amazing this bakery is. I was in charge of getting my father a birthday cake, well I forgot unit 3 days prior. I called this bakery told them what I wanted and what I was hoping for, without hesitation they helped and we put the order in. Now I was little worried about flavor and how the cake was going to look… but the flavor was amazing, the cake was light and fluffy, just the way you’d hope a cake would be. I had asked that the cake be in the shape/ design of a golf ball. They nailed it. This is now my cake place and I can’t wait to order for another event/ birthday. Thank you so much for making my father’s birthday so special!

Recently it was my 52nd birthday. I never get a cake. This year my husband thought to get me an apple cake and my friend one as well. Pretty nice of him , huh?
They were horrible. Came frozen and in plastic. Cake was soggy and tasted lousy. Possibly refrozen? We did defrost the cakes as told.
I don't want a frozen cake. When you go to the bakery they should be fresh. We did order ahead. It just isn't Classic cake co.

Classic Cake made our wedding cake and we had the most incredible experience. Al and the team were so lovely to us, set up the most fun and delicious tasting and made us cupcakes on the spot so we could try additional flavors. We sent over a couple of inspiration pictures and the cake was gorgeous and the best tasting wedding cake I've ever had. Cannot recommend Classic Cake enough!

Absolutely the worse customer service.
I purchased the barbecue cake. It looked fantastic. More people were taking pictures of it then actually eating it and it tasted very good as all their stuff does. Great cupcakes!
Al is so professional and accommodating! My grandsons and I had a wonderful afternoon decorating our Passover Cake Kits. Our kits each came with 2 separate cake layers , non dairy whipped topping, piping bags filled with different colors of decorative icing, shaved chocolate, and sprinkles. Thanks to Classic Cake, we made a wonderful Passover memory together!

I just went to classic cake and ran into my old boss Al DiBartolos from DeBartolo bakery. Classic Cake always had a good product but now that I know that Al brought over some of his recipes, including that amazing DiBartolo buttercream, Well classic cake just went through the roof. I highly recommend everything, but just that simple vanilla buttercream cake is so good when it’s done right and it’s definitely done right. Their decorators are also super amazing, super artistic and creative.

This was my first visit to this bakery. The portion sizes of the cakes, carrot cake, limicello, tiramisu, etc. didn't match the prices. They didn't have the large cannolis so I got 2 small ones. The chocolate morsels tasted like imitation chocolate. They were not good. The cashiers weren't friendly. They looked stunned as we explored theireñgx cases to see what they were selling. My Godmother had to remind the cashier she was purchasing multiple items.
I have been with Classic Cake since they had opened on Springdale Road in Cherry Hill which was over 20 years ago. The management was fabulous. When I walked in recently to their Evesham Road rebuilt location, I was met by Lorie Goldsmith who remembered me by giving me a friendly welcome. Lorie is certainly an improvement from Sharon in that Lorie truly cares about your needs ensuring you are satisfied with your purchase including other customers as i observed her interactions with other customers. And, no matter what task Lorie is doing, whenever a customer walks through the door, she stops to help and teaches her staff to do the same! Thank goodness Lorie was recognized to be the front of Classic Cake's management for she shines with brilliance!

It’s crazy that the reviews I’ve read are either 1 star and terrible or 5 star and glowing. That should tell us something. I’ve not been since before the fire and just bought a chocolate croissant and a piece of crumb cake to try it out.
Disappointed on both accounts.
The crumb cake was all crumb and a teeny bit of cake. The crumb topping was pressed down hard and not crumbly like it should be.
The croissant had so little chocolate in it I was shocked since it was $4.00!
I bake so I know the cost of using good ingredients and don’t resent it at all, but these 2 cakes were not good, didn’t taste like they were made with good butter or technique. Mediocre at best.
I’ll make the trek to Desserts by Design in Audubon. Fresh and top notch ingredients scream out and prices are more than fair.
The ordering process for getting a cake here was absolutely terrible, but the cake turned out beautiful and was delicious. I called and asked to place an order about two weeks before I needed a cake. I gave all my information, date for pickup, picked a size of cake, and gave payment information over the phone. The gentleman who took my order advised me that I could get writing and flowers included in the base cost (and I gave him what I wanted written on the cake for sure) but that I could also get a quote for custom design by emailing them. I agreed to the base price but also emailed my event invitation for a “design quote”. I heard back from the designer once questioning my order to which I responded back and then got radio silence. This led me to call the Thursday before my Sunday event and I was advised that a manager would be in touch the next day. I spoke to the manager and apparently my order was never actually “placed”. I referred her back to the name of the gentleman who took my order and still was advised I didn’t have a cake. She then had to check to make sure they could accommodate my cake on such short notice. They did accommodate me and placed my order this time (asking all the same questions I was originally asked). Then my husband picked up the cake on the day of the event and they briefly couldn’t find it. The cake itself turned out beautifully decorated and tasted even better so that definitely was not an issue, but the ordering process would make me wary of ordering from there again.
Got a 1/2 sheet cake for a birthday and was the worst cake we ever tasted. I was so embarrassed. Usually go to SWEET EATS but wanted to try someplace new. Never should have done that. Cake was dry and tasted stale. Then I bought a pumpkin loaf. Opened it up and there was mold on the side. Don’t waste your time or money here. There’s a reason SWEET EATS is always crowded. Their cakes are always fresh even if you buy one right from the cast. Real crap at classic cake.
