Classic Cake Bakery

I ordered a custom birthday cake for my daughter from Classic Cake and paid $110. The exterior looked beautiful and it photographed nicely, but cutting into it was heartbreaking: the three layers of cake were completely dry and flavorless, with almost no filling—just a thin smear of white cream and a tiny bit of raspberry sauce between them. It felt like a cheap pre-made cake someone had dressed up with decorations on top. For that kind of money, especially for a child's special day, I expected moist, high-quality cake and generous, flavorful filling—not this skimpy, tasteless disappointment. I was really let down, as this was supposed to be a highlight of the celebration. I won't be ordering from here again and would suggest others think twice or ask for a taste test first.

In a day and age where it is so easy to go online and write bad reviews, and working retail myself, I had to give credit to Lori and her team, for making a rough holiday season that much better. I will forever be grateful for your kindness and understanding. Lori is a great asset to your team and you can tell the minute you walk into her store. Great desserts but even better people.

Al is the man!! We have been getting cake from the DiBartolo’s since I was a kid and they are always so consistently amazing. It’s the only cake my mom will eat! Al is great to work with and delivers on what you’re looking for every me. Cannot recommend enough

This was so great to find this bakery! We aren’t from the area but it was so nice to have a treat! I had a biscotti and my daughter had the carrot cake- so tasty

I've only had the cakes and they are delicious. BUT the quality is not so exceptional that I would bypass other bakeries (like sweet eats in voorhees, sweet t's in haddonfield) because the people are JUST SO RUDE. I can't speak to the entire staff, but twice already I've encountered abrasive tones and impatience when I'm simply trying to inquire about the specialty items, time line, cake flavors, etc. One woman in particular answered the phone (I think her name is Lori) constantly cut me off before I could finish my questions. In person, I'm also met by a woman who did not seem particularly happy that I was browsing at the glass case and taking my time. Not sure if she's the same one. I just walked out with my kids. There's no reason to treat customers with such crudeness. Or is your nose so high in the air because you were once so popular? You're not better than everyone else just because your cakes are pretty.

This bakery made my daughter's wedding cake in 2023 and since then I've ordered a few birthday cakes because it was so outstanding. We just celebrated my daughter's birthday and I ordered a vanilla pound cake with buttercream frosting, just like her wedding cake. It was DELICIOUS! The texture is so perfect. It's rich and flavorful and the frosting is creamy and not cloyingly sweet, just wonderful. It was so pretty too! I wish I had taken a better picture of it before we cut it. She loved it. Al was so pleasant to work with, so kind and so excited for our marriage and wedding while discussing our plans to have a tiramisu cake instead of a traditional wedding cake. It came out even more beautiful than I could’ve imagined & tasted even better! It was such a hit with our guests, too. Thank you so much, Al!

I can not believe how amazing this bakery is. I was in charge of getting my father a birthday cake, well I forgot unit 3 days prior. I called this bakery told them what I wanted and what I was hoping for, without hesitation they helped and we put the order in. Now I was little worried about flavor and how the cake was going to look… but the flavor was amazing, the cake was light and fluffy, just the way you’d hope a cake would be. I had asked that the cake be in the shape/ design of a golf ball. They nailed it. This is now my cake place and I can’t wait to order for another event/ birthday. Thank you so much for making my father’s birthday so special!

Recently it was my 52nd birthday. I never get a cake. This year my husband thought to get me an apple cake and my friend one as well. Pretty nice of him , huh?
They were horrible. Came frozen and in plastic. Cake was soggy and tasted lousy. Possibly refrozen? We did defrost the cakes as told.
I don't want a frozen cake. When you go to the bakery they should be fresh. We did order ahead. It just isn't Classic cake co.

Classic Cake made our wedding cake and we had the most incredible experience. Al and the team were so lovely to us, set up the most fun and delicious tasting and made us cupcakes on the spot so we could try additional flavors. We sent over a couple of inspiration pictures and the cake was gorgeous and the best tasting wedding cake I've ever had. Cannot recommend Classic Cake enough!

Absolutely the worse customer service.

I purchased the barbecue cake. It looked fantastic. More people were taking pictures of it then actually eating it and it tasted very good as all their stuff does. Great cupcakes!
