La Cita Authentic Mexican Restaurant

I have passed this restaurant many times and my husband and I over looked it. We were looking to have Mexican in cherry hill so I went to open table and read the reviews. To our surprise— this Mexican restaurant is a gem and we plan to return again. The food was delicious and very fine quality. The owner came over to our table to ask how everything was. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this lovely family owned restaurant.

Small, local, family owned, authentic Mexican food. Ingredients were very fresh. The tres leches cake and flan were to die for. We've driven by this place a million times but never went until Friday night. We'll definitely be back.

Always a great experience, from the food to the service. It is our favorite for local Mexican food. The birria tacos are out of this world. Thank you for another outstanding evening!

La Cita is a favorite of mine for many years. Truly authentic food served by friendly people who care about your experience. The menu has consistent favorites with regular changes to keep it fresh and fun. I highly recommend this BYOB.

We came here with no reservation on a Saturday night and were seated immediately. My husband and I shared the appetizer sampler, and the dinner platter that offered 4 different kinds of meat. The food was delicious, and both dishes were enough for us to split with some leftovers to take home. I would definitely recommend getting their guac, as that was probably my favorite thing on the appetizer sampler. I wish the appetizer came with more chips, and the entree came with more rice. Service was fast and great. Overall, this was a fantastic meal and I will definitely return!

Awesome service! I called right when the restaurant opened to see if they could produce a medium size catering order, not only did they do a fabulous job with getting it done. The food was hot and delicious... perfectly arranged for a last minute order!

This is a small quaint BYOB authentic Mexican restaurant in Cherry Hill. I was able to a table for two for a walk in. It looked like they did a lot of take out orders/Uber Eats.

I ordered sweet plantains and Elote as an appetizer. My lady ordered fish tacos, she specifically loved the shrimp version. I ordered Al pastor and I forgot the other name. Both equally good and tasty.

Great prices, and great service. Parking isn’t the best because it fills up.

PS, their free chip and salsa is an added bonus. They pour a nice brown bean sauce over the freshly made chips.
