I went to this restaurant twice, once on my anniversary and then my husband and I took our kids. When we took the kids, our bill was $133, then there was a $22 gratuity charge that I felt shouldn’t have been added because we aren’t a group of 6, we’re a family of 6, all the kids being under age 13. Then there’s a tip suggestion for 18%( $22) I thought this was unfair and although I paid it and tipped, we won’t return.

Saturday nights it’s fun. DJ with music, the food in great. There are items from the non-seafood eaters like me. Drink are good and they keep them coming. A bit pricey but worth it.

Last night for take out - seafood rice was just a bunch of clams and 3 shrimps. ? 24 for that ? I could have gotten shrimp fried rice and been more happy. Also it was mostly rice no sauce for the rice clans 3 shrimps and a few scallops. Ridiculous

We made it towards the tail end of happy hour and the drinks were reasonable and not watered down at all. Can’t wait to come back!

Went there today with a friend. Service was fast, friendly. The food was great. The cocktail was good, but my favorite part had to be the live DJ on Saturday nights. The music was off the hook was dancing in my seat while enjoying my crabs definitely will go back.

i don’t know what that lady was talking about a day ago because this place is a complete 10/10 !!! i went yesterday 08/13 for my parents’ anniversary and the food was delicious. we got a 1lb of king crab, 2lbs of snow crab and a 1lb of clams and the oceancrat special flavor (level hot) and wow. i love seafood boils and this place always exceeds my expectations — not to mention their drinks are delicious !!! i had their passionfruit long island iced tea and mango daiquiri which were great. our waitress was amazing also, the whole staff was very nice. definitely recommend giving this place a shot !!!

When visiting Ventnor, we always stop at another local restaurant for a seafood boil and have been satisfied. This time, we decided to give Oceancrat a try. We took a table outside. I truthfully wasn't thrilled with some of the pictures posted by customers when looking for a place to eat, but figured we would give it a try. It looked as though the seasonings were packed on.
They were.
We ordered the boil for 2 and some beverages. I seriously only had 2 clams and 2 shrimp from an $80 meal. It was horribly overseasoned. This is NOT how a seafood boil should taste. It was swimming in an oily mess and had 1/4 inch of Old Bay stuck to it. I'm so confused how any of these reviewers consider this good?? Please visit other local places to have a real treat.
When asked how the meal is, we were truthful and let them know in a kind way that we were not happy with the food. He walked away and didn't come back until the bill was handed to us. So it cost over $105 w tip for the overcooked , overseasoned oily, unedible mess.
Do yourself a favor and try PJs ..
