Primo Water Ice of Short Hills

We had a great first visit to Primo’s Voorhees location on Friday. My 4 year old is anaphylactic to peanuts, and we were so happy to find that allergen info was listed clearly on the menu! The associate was so nice and helpful- this is definitely our new ice cream place!

My kids favorite new ice cream shop and wont break a bank like some other new shops. Graham cracker is our favorite, they have couple of vegan options too.

Sadly Primo's Water Ice of Short Hills is losing my business. Although convenient to my house, I can no longer justify the prices for such small ice cream scoops. I've been these 4x in the last month and each time (different workers) I have received the tiniest, tiniest scoops that do not match the cup size purchased. Here is a picture of what I received a few minutes ago - a large in a dish to go. It is very disappointing that the scoopers do not seem to be trained on how to properly scoop ice cream. I do not know of anyone who would justify that this is a large. Hollow space, down to the bottom of the dish, left on each side

Love the place I own the pizza place in the same shopping center and it’s my favorite go to desert place when I want something sweet

I ordered a Cherry Gelato and was served a melting, leaking mess. It was so bad I threw in the trash outside the store.

Today, I got the brownie ice-cream on a waffle cone! It was super delicious. There’s some seating in there too, if you want to hang around and eat your ice cream there! I highly recommend.

Good ice cream, this ice cream place however isn't that special, there certainly are better places around the area.

Is this supposed to be home made ice cream? The butter pecan and the cookies and cream tastes high in sugar. The two flavors I tried did not have that buttery homemade taste. 2 tries and I’m done. I will drive elsewhere for that homemade taste.

I have been to this place over 100 times. Amazing Ice cream, for very cheap. Love all of the workers here too.

Water ice was mediocre at best. Had mint chocolate chip and chocolate chocolate chip. Although they have dairy, the consistency was somewhat grainy. Blah flavors. Nowhere near the quality of Sundaes in Berlin.

My kids loved it as part of the PTA night. More vegan options would make it better.
