I used to LOVE Raising Cane's when I lived out west, and was tickled to find out they were expanding out here to NJ. And by expanding, I heard they were opening a bunch of them right here in South Jersey. I made the fatal mistake early on coming here within the first two weeks of its opening. My bad - I didn't realize it had just opened, didn't realize all the hype that led to a madhouse here. Once I pulled in and saw there was a huge line just trying to get in and out of the parking lot, I was trapped. Luckily, a parking spot opened up right in front of me and I walked inside to avoid the drive through. I actually enjoyed my meal - my timing was perfect as when I walked in there was a lull, and 5 minutes later, the line inside snaked all the way back outside. The chicken was fresh, hot and juicy. The lemonade hit the spot. I loved the Texas toast. The crinkle fries - uhhh, waaaaaay too much salt. Yikes. Enjoyed my little treat here, but thanks, I think I will wait until everybody calms down.

Very comfortable atmosphere, but it feels a little cramped at times. The seating is sometimes too close, so it feels a bit strange, but it's not too concerning. The fries were soggy, and the smaller chicken fingers were overdone, so we'll see if they improve. At least the presentation of the food is really good.

I read the reviews before going so I honestly did not expect the best. I will say the sandwich was good, but it was fire with the coleslaw, some extra sauce and the fries all in the sandwich! ? The mural on the wall, the story behind how the founder of the company came up with the logo, the cafeteria vibes, and the big bold ONE LOVE sign at the counter, all created a unique yet comfortable eating experience. Thanks for the recommendation, Doris!Parking: You might wanna opt for parking because the drive through may be crowded. Meh food was underwhelming. Chicken was decent, but nothing that stood out. Fries meh. Even the Canes sauce was overrated. Better places around the area. Service was not good as well. Asked for a unsweetened tea, got sweet tea.
I LOVE RC!!! If you don’t love this place, it’s not the place…the problem is you! What’s not to love? The chicken is real chicken, it’s juicy and just the right amount of crunch and the crinkle fries are the jam. The slaw makes me believe I’m eating something healthy (we know I’m not) and the toast, just a little added bit of goodness. You can get crazy and make a sandwich with it, but let’s be real, I normally eat it while I open the extra sauces!!
