If you love seafood and sushi, you will LOVE this buffet! We came all the way out of state bc someone recommended it and did not disappoint! The abalone was tender and tasty, baked oyster was delish, and the snow crabs, crawfish, and shrimp was excellent!!! The food was hot and fresh and gets refilled quickly. I also enjoyed the made to order sushi rolls! Def will be back again!

Please don't waste your time going here. I went yesterday for the first time and was highly disappointed. The only person who treated my party of 4 with kindness was the host, but after we sat everyone else was rude. Not a lot of options at the buffet and the food didn't wasn't very hot. There were 4 people in the party and we ordered a few kinds of sushi and the waitress is hesitant writing it all down like "each sushi option comes with 6 pieces, you read the sign right?" Like yes we can read and know you'll charge up to $10 for any uneaten food. Really rude vibes from everyone who waited on us and really not worth the price. Woke up today with stomach troubles too

Excited to explore the hot pot offering, my expectations were slightly tempered by the limited selection of ingredients compared to other AYCE hot pot establishments. However, I was willing to overlook this considering the overall value offered. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm was dampened by the interaction with the servers when ordering our hot pot items. Their questioning of our choices and discrepancies in the items received left a somewhat sour taste in our mouths. Despite these hiccups, I remained optimistic and decided to give the restaurant another chance on a subsequent visit. To my dismay, my second visit yielded similar results, with inconsistencies in the portion sizes and a puzzling absence of certain items we had ordered. While I couldn't help but feel a sense of frustration, I'm inclined to attribute these issues to isolated incidents rather than a systemic problem. Perhaps there's room for improvement in communication and consistency among the staff. In conclusion, while my experiences at this restaurant have been mixed, I'm willing to extend the benefit of the doubt and consider returning in the future. I just recently stopped by here for lunch. The sushi and sashimi menu is amazingly fresh and vibrant. I was shocked by the fresh cuts at such an affordable price. The hotpot was also a delightful addition to the meal as it was a cloudy and rainy day. I would definitely recommend Raku and visit here more often. Thank you for the amazing meal and service.
