Food was excellent as usual. Stacy, our server, was awesome. She had the bar make us our favorite drink - a take on the Bohemian! It was delicious! We were sat next to a large work group - it was fine - but it was a birthday celebration for my husband - just the 2 of us - and it was a little noisy. I should have asked for a quiet corner. All in all, capital grill is our favorite restaurant- top notch.
I think the Capital Grille has lost its original fine dining experience. I remember years ago when they would check your coat, waiters had business cards they gave you, and their logo on their to go bags. The food was just average and lacked seasoning. Miss the old Capital Grille.
Celebrating a birthday. Was out by the bar, without being asked it it was ok, which I didn't like at all. The Salmon was overdone and tasteless and the wait for the food was too long. Capital Grille is usually our go to for occasions, we are looking for a new upscale steakhouse for 2026. Very disappointing.
The service was excellent, I was there recently to celebrate a birthday, and the waiter was great at surprising us with a desert. The noise level is kept at a minimum and the decor and lighting is perfect
Beautiful setup for the occasion! We really enjoyed our celebration! We are also definitely celebrating our anniversary there every year! The experience was definitely beautiful!
Amazing, birthday happy hour we love the lounge and the menu. Michele as always is an amazing server.
I very rarely write reviews, but wanted to this time because the team here and their amazing hospitality makes it feel like home. I was there for a business luncheon with a group of ladies and Chef James was so kind to come out and greet us. And J Bird is there almost every time we are and makes us all so comfortable and provides impeccable service. For me, I go to steakhouses when I want to make sure everything is as close to perfect as possible, which is pretty much expected at a place like this. However, the quality and the service and the amazing way that they make you feel puts this place head and shoulders above any other. Thanks for an amazing experience always.
My wife and I stopped in for lunch 11/25 after shopping next door at the mall. What a pleasant surprise! Sat at the bar and had Beth as our bartender and server for lunch. Impeccable service, attention to detail and hand salute to Beth for being on the ball making sure customers had what they wanted. Maine lobster salad awesome. Martinis hit the spot and served ice cold and quickly. Beth kept checking with customers and all around us patrons having a great time. We live in city of Philadelphia and have dined at Capital Grill in past on Broad Street. This is a better more customer centric place and parking is free and this is too easy to go to Cherry Hill. Well done to Beth and the kitchen staff! We will definitely be back.
Outstanding! I dined with my daughters on our annual holiday shopping trip early on a Sunday evening. We enjoy Capital Grill and were excited for a special meal and CG did not disappoint. We were seated promptly and our server Mary (who was a star!) greeted us immediately. We ordered drinks (dirty martini, chocolate martini and an “in fashion”), all of which were great and served swiftly. We all had apps, including the clam chowder and a classic wedge, all good. Then we we each had filets, and we shared the sides of au gratin potatoes, mushrooms and asparagus. All hot and fresh and delicious. But I really want to shout out Mary our server and the chef who combined to make this a lovely, joyous meal. Not only did they do the regular things well, but they went above and beyond to accommodate my daughter's fish allergy. They checked all ingredients to make sure no fish was in any of them (you'd be surprised where fish sauce shows up, such as in Worcestershire sauce and other sauces and dressings), and then the chef made my daughter a safe bernaise sauce just for her! So nice. We also had red wine and shared a coconut cream pie. Highest recommendation.
Quiet table, delicious food and drinks great service. Lobster tail a bit dry otherwise it was a great experience overall.

We had one overcooked steak, the manager got us a new one pretty quick- thank you. First time in all the years going there with my family (I'm from Chicago) a manager came to the table. Which was nice. The Non Alcoholic choices are slim. Only Heineken 0. And still no mocktails on the drink menu, very disappointing. Overall was good, probably might look at another choice next visit to Philadelphia. (Cherry Hill is closer than center city). Thanks Patrick
Service impeccable and steak cooked perfectly. The fries in duck fat were incredible and stayed hot throughout the entire meal.
Usually have a great experience every time we dine here but we waited 35 minutes for our table in the bar area and went for the wagu and wine event but never received that menu to order for it. We were only offered the regular menu. When I asked for the menu for the wine and wagu the waitress never came back with one. At that point we waited so long for the table and then to order we just ended up ordering off the regular menu since we were starving
You can always expect an exceptional meal at the CG. This visit was no different. The atmosphere and professionalism the staff is 2nd to none. You get treated like you are the most important customer. It is a great place to have a reunion of friends and family. Our favorite appetizer, besides the calamari, has to be the jumbo lump crab meat. Served cold. Each lump of crab meat is as big as your thumb. It is succulent and juicy and sweet. I like a good filet mignon, so that's always my go to entrée. They prepare it perfectly. It is so tender and tasty. The creaminess of the spinach and mashed potatoes accents, the fillet perfectly. Topping the stake with blue cheese, takes it to another level. Others at the table praised the crème brûlée, but my winner was the apple tart with ice cream, drizzled with caramel sauce. How could you go wrong with that. Thank you, capital, Grille, and staff, for making my reunion with friends a memorable night.
I took my dad here for his 88th birthday and it was awesome! They treated him like a king. Marco our waiter was fantastic and if you go there I recommend you ask for him, he was awesome !
