This place is amazing I order to here by accident, and the guy nicely stayed late so I could pick up my order!
Men’s bathroom was filthy, food service slow.

If I’m rating this place on the bubble and milk tea alone, I give it a 4/5. It too bad. Not 5 stars “the best” but still very good.
If I’m rating it on the food, I would give it a 3/5. The chicken and fries were hyped up to me before I ate there, but they were just ok. The fries seemed a bit soggy. I was told the fried chicken sandwich was as good as Chick Fila’s, but it was not nearly as good (and I don’t think Chick Fila has the best chicken sandwich in the world either, so that’s not even my bar).
I will say the atmosphere was nice. Lots of seating and good for a big group. Nice for families to get something quick. Probably a fun place for teens to hang out after school (if they’re willing to pay for something).
The service was fine enough… a couple of bored teenagers who were friendly enough if you asked them a question. I’m sure that varies on whoever works there, but it’s not like the owner is there to show you around the place.

Spicy Chicken sandwich here use to be good but not anymore. They don't mix the spices well. Every bite is too salty and you bite a bulk of spice. My family and friends will not go there again.

Smokey but good
Update for tkk: Tried the tkk chicken recently. It was okay, pretty small for the price, probably would not get it again. Liked the kwakwa bao though.
The drinks are probably the freshest tea of the bubble tea places around, but they used to make them pretty sloppy so there's liquid running down the cup. Depends on who you get making your drink I suppose.
Pretty sure it's because they didn't wipe the cups rim so when they put the plastic seal lid on it, it doesn't seal well. Makes it leak if you tip the drink. And a sticky cup.
That said, I haven't had a poorly sealed cup in probably at least a few months from here. (As of 2/20/2024)

Kung Fu Tea In Cherry Hill Sunday around 5 pmThe legend of poor service and RacismWhat can I say about the king Fu Tea in cherry hill..well I was excited to see this place after picking up fish from the local market . But my excitement was immediately karate chopped by this young short curly haired woman (with glasses) that seemed very tired and angry. So I tried greeting her with a smile. This was my first time here and looking at the big location I thought this was going to be good-I went up to the register where I met the short curly haired woman with glasses. I stared at the menu and said .. this is my first time here!!! And smiled . She said nothing and starred at me. I was waiting for some sort of response - but there was nothing . I could not figure out what I wanted so I simply stepped aside to let another customer order. It was about one min of awkward silence. When the other customer behind us walked up to order — the customer said I never been here before - what is popular. The curly haired woman with glasses then pulled out a card and told the lovely lady. This is our most popular drinks..I was very shocked .. because my wife and I would’ve loved to have known that there were popular items. If the curly haired woman would have just made some sort of effort - we would had a better customer service experience than receiving the Clint Eastwood stare down. After she helped the customer … it was our turn again but this time I calmly gave her feedback. Because she made me feel unwanted. I then told her for a better customer service experience it would have been nice to have told us about the popular items .Then like a villain in a Kung Fu movie this tall curly haired man ( i’m assuming he was the supervisor) popped up and started listening. So I turned to him and explained the experience. Again calmly and respectfully !! I explained again, that I would have loved to have known about the popular items- and .. he said in a very sassy way , “we don’t make a commission here!!”Now my Kung Fu is very strong .. I didn’t not let that comment get to me . As a Black man, I have to navigate spaces like these every day.I am shocked that these two white employees working at this Boba restaurant made me and my wife feel not welcome. It’s boba .. everyone is supposed to like bobaSo I ordered my drink anyway .. my wife decided she didn’t want anything based on the service rendered..No As the tall curly haired man handed me my drink. I explained to him - (calmly and gracefully) that his comment m — “that we don’t make commission here.” Was not empathetic to the situation- and based on the other interactions I observed.. the interactions that were toward me and my wife .. were based it’s based on the color of my skin . He turned away from me and rolled his eyes. And that’s when I had to share my experience with the wider audience, and I will be sending this letter to corporate office.I threw the boba in the trash.. it tasted of mediocrity and racism.Boba is black and delicious just like me.Boba comes in different colors and flavors just like all of us. But this location treats their black customers differently. I will not be coming back.

I have come to this and several other Kung Fu Teas many times and never had an issue. The drinks and food are always delicious and made well. My favorites are the Smores Slush and Thai milk tea. The employees at this location are usually pleasant and friendly but today there was an employee I have never seen before...a curly redhead with glasses...she was rude. Very short with me and both times I thanked her after handing me my items, there was no reply. I removed one star due to my bad experience with her. She needs a refresher on interacting with customers.

Kung Fu Tea is a good boba chain. Support local places if you can but I’ve always had a good tea here.
