I noticed today the restaurant is closed. No furniture or anything inside. No sign in the window that they have moved to another location. I am not surprised. It used to be a good restaurant when the couple ran it 6 - 7 years ago. But with ownership change it went down hill.

Not sure if this went under new ownership but what a disappointment. Use to be good years ago. I ordered food and 1 lady was cooking, answering phones and cashier. No one else in there. Food was the worse ever.

The new owners aren't as good, and it's still uncomfortable to actually eat in this restaurant. But Yangtze does make pretty good vegetable Lo-Mein, and they do have good lunch deals as well. It's not the best, but it's far from the worst.

Awful! This used to be a great Chinese Restaurant. No idea what happened, but we will NEVER go back. We really need a good Chinese takeout on this side of Cherry Hill.

This is the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. The "squid" was frozen, the kung pao chicken could have been chicken with broccoli with a handful of peanuts thrown on top. It really bordered on disgusting.

Customer service was extremely mediocre. They were neither friendly nor rude. Probably because there are only 6 tables inside. Food quality was alright. I got the Special Singapore Noodles. Small things I didn't like: they didn't give me any utensils (for takeout), they barely spoke, and inside it was very cold. Although I would recommend other Chinese places, I would still go here from time to time. 3 stars.

Poor service. Mediocre food. Canned veggies. Dirty silverware. Wrong order. Cooks wearing sandals.

I've been ordering Chinese food from Yangtze River for 20+ years. I've never actually eaten in the restaurant, but it is a very solid option takeout. My favorites are the spring rolls, pork fried rice, chicken with cashew, beef lo mein, and sweet and sour chicken. Their crispy fried noodles are also very good. While the management has changed, there hasn't been a noticeable change in the food. I compare all Chinese food to this place, while it isn't gourmet by any means it is a great option for Chinese takeout.

The food didn't taste fresh. I ordered sweet and sour chicken. The sauce was watery, and had little flavor. The meat tasted rink, and the rice was too soft. I wad going to eat there, but they just put my food in a bag without asking. The only reason they get the second star, is they gave me 3 duck sauces, instead of the stingy 1, or 2.

I have been going to this place since I was younger and it was one of my favorite places to eat at. However, with the new management, the food and the service has completely destroyed this place. I used to always order a Hot and Sour soup (amongst many other things) and when the new management took over, I continued to buy the soup. Every time, it would taste worse and worse until finally, one day I ordered and it was taste like salt soup. I literally could not even eat one spoonful of the soup because it was so salty. That's my experience on that specific soup. They really did use to have the best soup in the area. Their other dishes have not improved and many are not worth the money. Their recipe constantly changes and is never consistent - in a very bad way. Some days it will be too bland, other days, it will be too salty. I decided to never order from this place again. There are several Chinese restaurants a little farther from my house but I would rather go there than to Yangtze.
