Ok this was the WORST Haitian food that I’ve ever tasted. I was pissed off and disappointed. I ordered the food to go. But, I opened the piklis in the store to try it before I purchase a big jar and good thing I did. It was flavorless and tasted like vinegar only. There was nothing but cabbage in it, no peppers, carrots or anything else.
So once I get home I opened the food and was upset. The black rice was barely gray. This means that they skimped on the mushrooms. The rice was BLAND. the griot was DRY and flavorless. The onion and bell peppers were raw. I threw the food out and ended up eating a pb&j. $19 worth of trash!

Not worth the time or money! Portions are VERY SMALL! For a medium $14-$17 you getting a kids size. The cabbage was so freaking nasty! I see why he wanted to get rid of it. Had the nerve to say it’s the best lol. If you don’t know any better. I truly wasted my hard earned money on this food!! NEVER AGAIN I’ll take the ride to Trenton instead!!!
The food was delicious but the portion for the large Oxtails was a little small. Had me craving it in my dreams 😊 But the customer service was excellent as always, I think after a few more visits I would certainly be able to give this place 5 stars 😋

I got the curry goat, rice /beans and sweet plantain. I also added Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was the first thing I ate. Skip that it was way too salty (I only took 3 bites) the rice and beans were okay by themselves... (i was hoping to have a little sauce from the beans). Sweet plantain were thick juicy and delicious! Worth the little up charge. BUT THAT GOAT..... 5 stars!!! So much flavor. Definitely got me to my happy place. That sauce.... just GET IT. Only thing for the price the meat seemed stingy. So this will make it a maybe once in a while place for me.
Will try the curry chicken next... update soon.

I seriously just wasted
my 50 on Uber. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. I just want to cry . Everything is in the trash. From the tough oxtails to the patties that should b call pastries . It’s horrible. Do not look like photo on Uber eats . The plantain hard . I could go on .

Food is good but portion size for $20 not good. I'll learn how to cook it at home before patronizing the restaurant again. I can get three bags of goat meat from the grocery store for less than $20. If the gentleman at the front counter showed me the Styrofoam container as opposed aluminum container I wouldn't have purchased.

The food here was extraordinary. I was amazed at how good the food was. I had the patty and black rice. The customer service was excellent. I love how Mark (the manager) introduces all of the food. I have been to many Haitian restaurants, but this one went beyond my expectations. I have never had such good food. The quality was exceptional; it was a 10/10. I will be back.
