The restaurant primarily served LARGE portions of rice with only a minimal portion of the main dish. Not enough food for one person. The food was dry and overcooked, giving the impression that it might had been reheated from the previous night. The prices were high for the quality provided. Additionally, the texture of the food was hard, making it unedible. The pate, in particular, was extremely disappointing. Despite having previously enjoyed Haitian pates elsewhere, this one was of very poor quality. Overall, based on this experience, I would NEVER go back. $100.00 wasted.

I had the goat curry, cabbage, plantains and mushroom rice. This is, by far, the best Haitian food and best restaurant in the county. Everything had the right amount of spice. Amazing restaurant and the kindest chefs.

Chez Rodine is the place to go to get the best food in NJ. Their du riz djondjon and du riz Kole are to die for. I am always going to eat their anytime I am in town.
