Italian food is my favorite. This place was recommended by a local. And I couldn't have been happier. I felt like I walked straight into some Italian grandma's kitchen. The food was unbelievably fresh and delicious. The service was professional and personal. I live in Nashville but I would drive back to Tampa to eat here again. My kids absolutely loved everything they ate and had a great time! Look at that cheese pull!

Went there with 2 of my friends for dinner the other night. We’ve never been there before, but have heard great things. Dinner was delicious, large portions, excellent server, and great atmosphere. Definitely will be back!!!

We ordered take out and the food was absolutely horrible. Seemed very low quality and no effort. Meatballs in meatball sandwich looked like mystery meat and had a chewy texture.

Everything is excellent! We ordered trays for a graduation party. Everyone loved everything and we had tons of leftovers to share. I would highly recommend.

Cannot rate the food because we called for take out at 7:40& was told kitchen was closed but we were confused because it’s open til 9.. not sure why the kitchen closes so early? Will possibly try again another time

I took my girlfriend to dinner on Saturday 5/31/2025, I ordered the risotto and scallops. I ate a scallop first it was very good and then tasted the risotto. It was horrible! First it was in more of like a broth instead of the creamy texture upon biting the actually risotto it was not cooked. I was like eating raw rice and it was stuck in my teeth. I told the waiter who was extremely understanding and apologetic. I requested the same thing but new not recooked because if they reheated the scallops they would then be over cooked. They returned the dish and the risotto was still undercooked crunchy and still sticking in my teeth. And the scallops were now overcooked after I request new. I returned the dish entirely. The female manager came out and instead of apologizing wanted to school me about how risotto is to taste and texture basically telling me I was wrong for saying it was undercooked. I let her know I have had risotto many many times I have also traveled to Italy so I know how risotto is supposed to taste. Needless to say I will not be going back.

We went to a private event there today. Their server went above and beyond to accommodate my food allergy; he was outstanding- I wish I would’ve gotten his name. Service was great, bread basket was fabulous and food was served hot and was delicious.

Great food and cozy atmosphere. Reasonable prices. My wife and I like to linger and savor our occasional dinners out, so it’s always a disappointment if we are made to feel rushed to order, eat, and leave. The staff at Due Amici is to be highly commended for not rushing us and making us feel relaxed and able to enjoy our date there. And the food was excellent too! Definitely one of our favorite places!
