Alli and I recently had our wedding at The Merion, and it was nothing short of perfection. From start to finish, the team was incredibly attentive, professional, and genuinely invested in making our day unforgettable. Every detail was executed flawlessly, and the service was impeccable throughout the night.
Our guests are still raving about the food with a variety and quality that exceeded all expectations. The presentation was just as impressive as the taste. Manny was an excellent bartender and did an amazing job with the cigar bar/smoked old fashioned station. We heard nothing but good things about the other bartenders/servers as well.
We want to give a special shoutout to our event coordinator Calli. She went above and beyond to give us our dream wedding and even stayed late until the night to ensure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. We could not have pulled this off without her and by the end she felt like part of the family. We would highly recommend her to anyone planning on getting married at the Merion in the coming years. Did I mention she also helped in planning my proposal to Alli in a different room at the Merion?

Our family celebrated our mother's 70th birthday at the Merion in the Palace Ballroom. Our family and friends all had a wonderful experience. Our Event Coordinator, Calli was amazing. She answered all of my questions in a timely manner and maintained great communication throughout the planning. On the evening of the event, all of the staff was wonderful, but I have to give a special shout out to our Matre'D, Captain and Head server. They made sure everything ran smoothly and were attentive to the request or questions we had that evening. Thank you for making my mom's birthday celebration a memorable evening!

The place is just beautiful but the parking is a major problem. We went to wedding this weekend and as we were pulling in there was a very large bus ahead of us and it was just not able to fit because they had parked cars in the fire lane and all over the place so the bus had a major accident and we could not move after about 20 minutes we try to move back to the parking lot and it just had cars all over the place not in spots just parked on the road into the parking lot it was the worse thing ever then we saw the parking attendance driving to park the guest cars racing the cars in the back part of the lot. We were so please that we decided to park our own car and not know what the young crazy kids would do with our car. Very disrespectful to us guest that put trust in people to park our cars with good fare. It truly was a nightmare getting in to park and leave as well we could not get out because the busses could not get out due to cars all over the place. To bad the management don't supervise this. We are just relieved.tgat nothing happened to our vehicle

We were incredibly disappointed with our experience at The Merion. My bride had booked the wedding of her dreams, and instead of receiving the treatment she deserved, she was treated as an afterthought. During the first look and romantic portraits, she was repeatedly shuffled into an unkempt, storage-filled room. This was not the experience we had anticipated when we chose this venue.
Please be aware that when you book at The Merion, there is a small, shared space where brides frequently cross paths, and multiple weddings are booked on the same night. The venue advertises that this would be handled smoothly and seamlessly, but unfortunately, that was not the case. The entire process was disorganized and disruptive, and it caused significant distress for the bride.
It’s heartbreaking to see the bride so upset on what should have been one of the happiest days of her life. The Merion needs to seriously reevaluate their operations and their promises to brides. This experience was far from what was promised, and it’s a shame.

Emily and Wayne were wonderful to work with and understood our vision for the event. Emily communicated with us and helped with planning leading up to the event, and she was attentive and available the day of, as was Wayne and his team. We look forward to hosting future events with them at the Merion!

I recently reached out to inquire about hosting my wedding at this venue, but my experience was disappointing. When I called to request more information, the person who answered was unhelpful and seemed unsure about what details I was asking for. I mentioned that I wasn’t happy with the way she was speaking to me, and her response was simply "okay," which felt dismissive. As a couple considering this venue for such an important event, the lack of professionalism and customer service left a negative impression. Based on this experience, we have decided to look for a different venue for our wedding.
