While waiting for the server a roach came out to greet us. Now I know where I am so I wasn’t crazy alarmed. We killed it and let the server know so it could be cleaned up. She brought the manager over and he started to try to explain. I told him it was fine and we were staying. The food was excellent but when we got the bill there was a gratuity charge. I def didn’t stay for a discount but I thought it was very audacious to charge gratuity and we had to exterminate. Then it got me to thinking if this roach is out here the infestation has to be crazy already. I say all of this to say. I got an attitude from the manager when I said how can you try to tell me how much to tip. He said Fine take it off with an attitude and said that’s how the waitress gets paid and that he will just have to pay her. I thought that’s how it went. She was wonderful but her boss is a douche who needs to preform extermination services.

I used to order their pancakes from ubereats all the time but after some guy was unprofessional about their parking spot in the back I won't be back there anymore. Horrible customer service.

This was my first time here. Recommended by a friend. The food was average. I had French toast and turkey sausage links, which were very good! My son had silver dollar pancakes with the turkey sausage links. He loved the links and he really doesn't eat meat often so that was great! Price is fair. There were three of us and the bill was about $68. That included our drinks as well.Kid-friendliness: They made my son, several silver dollar pancakes. It was a lot! Also, I loved the size of the kid's cup. It was the perfect size.

This is a very nice little soul food restaurant. The food is great and while I have only eaten breakfast here I have to believe the lunch and dinner will be great too.

Good local place I go for breakfast. We usually get the salmon cake and grits. The food generally is good. Sometimes the salmon cakes taste over fried and greesy though.

Our group of 12 went and devoured the delicious food served with love. Mr Jefferson and Team was spectacular serving our group. Every dish was absolutely mouth watering with large portions. Run to support this black owned business. We will be back and soon!Parking: Lots of free parking with security attendant

Ok, I was looking for Good soul food in the area, again(lo) I live in jersey and still looking for the best soul food place :/ my tractor brought this establishment up. I went on the directions of my GPS- arrived and realized , I’ve been there before, and there is as a reason I did not go back.#1 it’s advertised as a soul spot, yet it’s not owned or ran by Black Southern Americans ( as it appears) .-#2 I instantly remembered the blank face, non inviting or friendly Indian looking young lady who came to take my order. She stood out cause my last experience was the same. Hospitality isn’t an easy field, isn’t fit everyone, and any Patron should always be greeted with a smile and welcomed- you never know the impact an encounter can do for your business.Story short.I walked out, so I can not recall if the food was good on my last encounter since the service was trash and I told myself I would not be back.-#3 Great service will always give grace and give second shots despite not being satisfied with food.

Honestly this is the most tasteless, overpriced food I’ve ever had. The catfish is NOT real. $23 down the drain

Great place to enjoy a big brunch on the final day of the year with my aunt. The western omlete was great and the coffee ☕ & hot coco were especially good.
