Food was disgusting, grease is realy old taste like every meat under the sun , chicken was spoiled, greasy , not seasoned , collards was trifling, max and cheese was like Mac and please don't let this be for human consumption, corn bread was corny. Would not recognize this garbage to no one .

When we arrived we were not allowed to sit in the main dining area. We were told we had to sit up front. We were the only ones there. My chicken was raw and bloody in the middle. They refried and practically burned the same piece of chicken which was already dark from the start and added 3 wing flings. My food was brought back to me packaged to go even though the other people in my party were still eating. We were told they didn’t take credit cards. They take Zelle, cash app and cash. All though they don’t take credit cards we were charged a credit card fee. The receipt says a gratuity is added for orders over $100. A 15% gratuity was added to our bill that was well under $100. The receipt has a cash price and a CC price on it. I zelled the cash price because it’s cash going directly from one account to another. I was told I had to pay the CC fee. How can you charge a CC fee if you don’t accept credit cards?!?!

If I could give negative stars I would this used to be my go to spot for Rasta pasta dk who the new chef is but he needs to go just spent $60 whole order is in the garbage so disappointed

I've been here before and I liked the food but this place has really pushed things up, I loved everything I had, the oxtail tasted like stew ( not like sugar I've had at other places) I enjoyed the heat on the rasta pasta and the sides of potatoe salad and collards were a delight. Definitely going back before the year is out

The restaurant does not accept ATM cards. The tv at the mini bar was broken and on with a black bar running down the middle if the screen.. The men's room had a storage tote under the sink & buckets of various cleaning supplies.. The service was very unprofessional.. Don't waste your money at this establishment. #ADUMP!!

Ordered food one day and it was good. Next day I order the same thing, turkey wings, collard greens and Mac and cheese. The turkey wings taste spoiled and sour smh.

I went to what was suppose to be 5 dollar Wednesday and got there at 7 and they wasn't ready until 8 for 5 dollar Wednesday which only lasted a hour b4 all drinks was 10 each the food was ok I order wings for 13 and Mac n cheese for 6 and seafood salad for 10 I was very upset because they charge for each one separately then when it came to me it was all together like a platter. And not worth the money for the portion size especially for the seafood salad it should've been in it own container for 10 not just a scoop I was pissed. But this place is black owned and for some.reason u just can't support black businesses they over charge and they lazy bad customer service and 55 dollars for 2 wines and food was crazy.. I won't be back anytime soon if I do go back I won't be ordering anything else it also took over a hour for my food to come and it wasn't even hot..😒

I gave the atmosphere of five because it was nice but their prices are too high . They don't take credit cards and take a gratitude. On the receipt it say if you spend $100 but they still take the gratuity and you did not spend $100. I will not be returning back to that place even though it had a nice atmosphere. Never again

I ordered fried chicken, mac & cheese, candied yams & a sprite. The tastiest item was the Sprite. My food was disgusting! The Mac& cheese tastes spoiled, the candied yams tastes like mashed sweet potatoes that’s not sweet but tastes like it was cooked with equal sweetener and the chicken tasted old and hard. I don’t even want to give 1 star. I wouldn’t recommend the food to a dog!

The food was ok, the Mac n cheese taste like something out of a box, greens had no taste, the best thing was the beef ribs .They were only taking cash, so if you didn't have cash on hand you were forced to use their atm.

The food is amazing but hookah is not my scene so thats the only thing that takes away from the atmosphere . The music is great as well
