The Bartender Totally Ignored Me! He Gave Me My Soda And Then He Didn't Even Come To Take My Food Order Until 15 Minutes Later!When He Finally Came Around He Was Rude And Disinterested! He Didn't Put My Food Order (Just A Cheese Pizza) In For At Least Another 20 Minutes After I Ordered It Because He Was Busy Playing On His Phone! I Was There With 4 Other Friends We Had Just Come From A Wake. All Of My Friends Had Gotten Their Food And Finished It But I Was Still Waiting For Mine (Just A Cheese Pizza)! My Friends Pizza Had A Big Hair In It And The Bartender Told Her That He Can't Do Anything About It! Finally About An Hour+ In Total Later I Got My Pizza. No Acknowledgement, No Apology, No Nothing From The Bartender. He Literally Set It Down And Walked Away. I Ate It Because I Was Starving. I Was Literally Sick ? For Two Days After I Ate That Pizza. I Drove To Maryland The Next Day For Vacation In Terrible Stomach Pain The Whole Drive From That Pizza! I Still Couldn't Even Eat Anything Until The Next Night When I Finally Had To Force Something Down! 20 Years Ago Star Tavern Was The Hang Out Spot, The Go To Spot! We Would All Go There And Have A Great Time With Great Food, Great Drinks And Great People! It's A Shame What A Sorry Excuse For An Establishment It Has Become! I Will NEVER, EVER Go There Again!!

Not my first time eating here but it will be my last. Normally I would just dine in but today I carried out and didn't realize what a mistake that would be. I ordered 2 pies and 2 chicken Parmesan dinners. The pizza was drowned in sauce, barely any cheese in sight. The chicken Parmesan was watery. Kinda like the noodles weren’t drained and Ive honestly never heard of grilled chicken parm. I thought chicken parm was breaded chicken, this grilled chicken parm was watered down unseasoned and truly a disappointment. To spend nearly 80$ for this was just disheartening. Never again.

I love this place! Pizza is amazing. No frills type of vibe but I have to say our waitress Sam was so fun and amazing and really made our night. My friends and I have a monthly dinner and we can’t wait to come back!

1st time visiting and service was horrible! There were two people in front of us waiting to be seated and four people came after and were seated before us and quickly attended to them ignoring the four people ahead of them. We politely protested their action and pointed out there were more seating, she stated the tables were too big. We left without eating.
The search is over! I've been searching for a place to go to on Sundays that has it all. Good bar food, my favorite drinks, and great service. My friends recommended Star Tavern, and I decided to check it out. Boy, was I glad I did! I found a seat at the bar and was met by not one, but two smiling faces. These girls made me feel like I was a regular customer taking my food order and getting my drinks. It wasn't very long and my pizza was in front of me with another fresh drink. Food was good, drinks were great, and the service from these two made me feel like this needs to be my spot on Sundays! Thank you Dina and Amber for taking such good care of this old man. You made my day and I'll definitely be back next Sunday! Save a seat at the bar for me.

Server was amazing just really busy. Over all staff seemed like they all synced their bad attitudes...had to beg who seemed to be the manager to get someone to prep a table for two...the food was horrible. Sausage parm and lasagna I will stick to chick fingers, Buffalo wings or pizza.
