We when to Bistro 1051 for my wife's birthday. We had gone there before. The service and food were great as we expected. The prices have increased since we last visited and there was a 3% service charge added for using a CC to pay. I feel that this is a surcharge not a service. Overall, great experience.

When we arrived on time, the receptionist said that we didn't have a reservation even though I made the reservation on OpenTable two weeks early and asked for a table in the main dining area. She said she didn't have a table for us in the main dinning room because other people made reservations. I showed her the confirmation text from OpenTable but she didn't care and sat us against the wall in the sunroom or whatever you call the side room.

The food was excellent, however, we had a 7:15 reservation and were not seated until almost 8. While waiting to be seated, we witnessed a man who looked to be the owner, yell at someone on the phone, hang up on them twice, and then slam his phone onto the table in anger. We were seated next to a large retirement party, and all the members of the party were standing around our table while we were dining - I could not even lift my arms without hitting someone as that is how close they were standing next to us. The volume level was literally insane- my throat hurts today from yelling to my friend sitting next to me. Our main course took FOREVER to come out, but like I said, everything was delicious- probably the only saving grace of the night.

This was our first time at Bistro 1052. The food was excellent. Service was attentive and we really enjoyed it. We will be back!
Everything was delicious: pork giambotta, lobster ravioli, Happy Roll and Clark Special Roll were all great!

Ordered 3 scoops of sorbet for desert after waiting quite a while for food, the dish cane with the 3 scoops and no spons! Couldnt get anyones attention, when we did we got 3 GIANT serving spoons WTF???? Dint matter the sorbet melted!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Two out of the three entrees for our group of three were good. I had the Halibut special and it was excellent. My husband had the Rack of Lamb special and really liked it. My brother had the Chicken Parm off the regular menu and it came out "crispy" - way overcooked. The service was spotty after we placed our order. The server walked by our empty glasses as she fussed over the table next to us to see if they wanted more water (they declined) and the. Walked right passed our empty glasses for a second time with her pitcher. I had to energetically flag her attention to which she simply looked at me and said "What?" When I asked for more water, she CJ tinued on into the kitchen and came back out with a corkscrew for the other table. Finished with serving their wine, she the. Went back to the kitchen. Eventually she reemerged with the water pitcher again and this time visited our table for the first time in 45 minutes. Outside of those few things, the rest of the meal was pretty okay.
