Wonderful Christmas market

On the days it's open to the public, be sure to attend. Our family with young children always has a great time here. It's a very welcoming atmosphere with great food plus wine and beer for purchase.

After recently returning from Munich’s Springfest, a mini Octoberfest for the local German people, I found the Octoberfest at the Deutscher as close as you can get to the real thing. Great food and beer, bands and good people, what more can you ask for. I will be a regular from here on !

When open to public this is an excellent place for traditional German fare, music, and a great beer selection.

I have been a member of the Deutscher Club for many years; great atmosphere, food and people. Come out and join the upcoming public events of Deutscher Tag and Oktoberfest. Always a wonderful selection of food and imported beers at very reasonable prices. Fantastic music/entertainment as well. Looking forward to these awesome events again this year. Prost!

Great place to go

I’m disappointed and outraged by the management of the Deutscher Club of Clark. My sister, who is disabled and has been a dedicated member for over 20 years, has spent so much time, energy, and money volunteering for this club. Yet, she was recently verbally abused and physically threatened by a former police officer who lost his badge for driving drunk and causing serious, permanent harm to an innocent person. This individual, who is also a member but does nothing but drink and drink and hold court in the club’s bar/dining area until he gets belligerent and even violent, creates a dangerous environment for all patrons.

Despite my sister filing a grievance, the club cowardly sided with this individual and took no action to protect her or other members. When this man found out about the grievance, he started harassing her, and yet the club thought it was acceptable and did nothing. It is appalling that they continue to enable his destructive behavior, putting everyone at risk. Other members have also filed grievances against this man, yet the club’s leadership does nothing. This establishment’s lack of responsibility and disregard for the safety of its members is unacceptable. This man needs to be BANNED from the club immediately. While the bartender is great and not at fault and there are some nice people at this club, the leadership’s actions are disgraceful. I strongly advise others to avoid this place until they take serious steps to address this issue.

Great place to go

Great place in authentic German style, we felt like we were at the Wiesen in Munich! The beer is exceptional (I haven't had a Weihenstephan in years!) and the food is what you would expect from a genuine Biergarten.

The location is also very nice, with covered and uncovered seating, which allows to visit in any weather condition.
