TL:DR Whole family got food poisoning.
What a terrible decline we've experienced with this restaurant. Have been ordering from Ninja for probably a solid 2-3 years; not exclusively, but maybe once or twice a month.
-The atmosphere has always been non existent, just a small waiting area in the front to pick up food, and although there are tables inside, it is always blocked off, so I dont think they do dine in-service anymore.
-Speaking of service, what used to be hit, is now mostly miss. We used to order so much that a woman would call if she noticed our order was different, or to offer a substitute if they were out of something. Fast forward, don't even expect to be greeted when you walk in. Worker will look right at you and then just walk off, only to come back 5 min later, see you still standing there, and then walk off again. On more than one occasion I've had to have a back and forth with a worker when picking up my order because they demand to see my doordash or uber confirmation, but I'm not a delivery driver, just picking up my personal food, so I dont have that. Apparently giving the name for the order and listing off everything we ordered isn't good enough. I've had to open my bank statement to show that I did indeed pay for the order and now I want to leave with it.
-And on to the food.... Last night ordered about 12 rolls. Quite a few sloppily put together and falling apart when you pick them up (this has become more common). The rolls themselves have shrunk in size, shrimp tempura roll is only 4 pieces now?? Classic rolls like spicy tuna or salmon avocado which usually are 8 pieces, some only had 6. Maybe they were running out of product? But MOST importantly, every member of my family that had ninja sushi last night was violently ill overnight, I mean vomiting for HOURS. Within 2 hours, wife, teen kid, and myself were all running the gambit of classic food poisoning. I dont know if the fish was bad, or maybe it was left out after being made, but one thing is for sure, we will never be ordering sushi from here again.

They cancelled our Grubhub order because they were too busy. Took us about 45 minutes to find out. Plenty of other sushi places that want people's business.

ordered sushi, fried rice, and chicken wings. They just decided to not send the chicken wings. Called them they said it’s because we don’t have any.
Nobody thought to call and ask me if I wanted something else? Still got charged for it???
wild. first and last time i order from here. sushi’s wack anyway
I come here pretty often. The service and food has gone down since they combined with Mulan. Today I waited 50 minutes for food that did not need to be cooked. When I asked to cancel because I needed to go they refused and were rude to me. Not sure if I’m coming back if it doesn’t get better

Worst sushi I have ever had. Ordered 10 rolls all of them came out horrible. I'd rather go to Monotaro Japanese, also the sauces they gave us had a weird texture with an expired taste. Every sushi we go to have the same type of sauce, their sauces have a different taste to it or maybe they were expired....

This place is garbage. Long time customer never had a problem. Ordered something to go and the lady messed up my order. Instead of trying to fix it, made me still pay for the incorrect roll plus the correct roll. After telling her she will lose a customer over this her response was she has too many customers anyway.

With the taste of sawa, I will go back to eat your taste and wait.
Solid place. Staff rushes you a little bit but it's kind of funny and charming. Prices are good. Food is solid. One of my favorite spots.

Enjoyed my take out order of special rolls New York Jet and 2Die4. Japanese egrolls were really good too Spicy Kani salad was OK.. . I don't think they are open for sit down dining, but i could be wrong.

We spent close to $100 on (2) sashimi deluxe orders delivered by DoorDash. The fish was completely inedible. I just read another recent negative review about “Ninja” saying the “sushi is fresher at ShopRite” I TOTALLY agree ShopRite sushi is very fresh and good. The fish from Ninja was like rubber; the quality horrible!! It was so bad I was compelled to call the restaurant to complain - while on the phone the man who answered started talking to who I can only assume was the sushi chef about my complaint he then directs the conversation back to me on the phone and says “no one else has complained??” When I pushed back on how bad it was - he said a manager will call me back. Needless to say that never happened. I gave them an opportunity to correct the problem which clearly they had no interest in doing. It was close to $100 with of bad sushi we literally threw in the garbage. Luckily, there are several sushi places to choose from in the area - This one is permanently off my list. NEXT!
