This place is garbage. Long time customer never had a problem. Ordered something to go and the lady messed up my order. Instead of trying to fix it, made me still pay for the incorrect roll plus the correct roll. After telling her she will lose a customer over this her response was she has too many customers anyway.

Solid place. Staff rushes you a little bit but it's kind of funny and charming. Prices are good. Food is solid. One of my favorite spots.

Enjoyed my take out order of special rolls New York Jet and 2Die4. Japanese egrolls were really good too Spicy Kani salad was OK.. . I don't think they are open for sit down dining, but i could be wrong.

We spent close to $100 on (2) sashimi deluxe orders delivered by DoorDash. The fish was completely inedible. I just read another recent negative review about “Ninja” saying the “sushi is fresher at ShopRite” I TOTALLY agree ShopRite sushi is very fresh and good. The fish from Ninja was like rubber; the quality horrible!! It was so bad I was compelled to call the restaurant to complain - while on the phone the man who answered started talking to who I can only assume was the sushi chef about my complaint he then directs the conversation back to me on the phone and says “no one else has complained??” When I pushed back on how bad it was - he said a manager will call me back. Needless to say that never happened. I gave them an opportunity to correct the problem which clearly they had no interest in doing. It was close to $100 with of bad sushi we literally threw in the garbage. Luckily, there are several sushi places to choose from in the area - This one is permanently off my list. NEXT!

The place looks closed to indoor seating if you come through the front door but they are open. The food was quite good. I ordered Chicken Teriyaki and two sushi rolls. The chicken was lukewarm at best but flavorful. The vegetables looked like they had been frozen and not fresh but tasted fine. Rice was good. The sushi was certainly above average. So why 3 stars? It was cold in there. The food wasn't the proper temperature and they charged several dollars more than what was on the menu and the excuse was it was an old menu but that's the menu they gave me. Not sure if I'd go back after this overcharge. The other stuff I could chalk up to it's a one time thing.
Ordered for takeout. Im not sure if its the same owner from Nutley but the one in Clark in my opinion is not the best. Never had a bad dinner from Ninja in Nutley thats why we were excited to try this thinking it was the same. The fish tasted off the hibachi was just a mess. This was our first time ordering from here. We may give it another chance to see if it was just a off day but not for a while.

You can't eat in the restaurant because for some reason they think there is still covid so it is all blocked off. They did have very friendly staff. The fish was not good. It was definitely old. While I know tuna can be fatty, this was all fat. The tuna was brown. It was very funky tasting. Not going to let this one slip. They gave old fish that should not have been sold.
