It’s rare that you go from enjoying a place to thinking “what am I doing here” . Well that’s happened and it happened to what I thought was one of the better Panda Express locations. My wife ordered in the app (so far so good). I arrive to pick up our order and it’s ready, packaged, and handed to me by an employee (still good). The trouble starts when I get home and check the food. To start off I’m missing a part of the order (more on that later) and the food (which is generally the same quality no matter what) left a ton to be desired. Noodles had a taste like they were sitting out for a while and we were missing an item. I called in to say “hey, missing something can I just get a refund” and I’m told only the manager can do that and he’s gone for the day. So you have a location serving food and no one is really in charge? Maybe that’s normal for the location who am I to judge. I call earlier today to speak with the manager who told me he’d call me back in 5-10 minute. After 30 minutes I decided to call in only for him to tell his employee “I’ll refund them for the missing item”. Now look… I get it.. not the biggest deal in the world. But if you’re a manager worth your weight in anything you should be a little more proactive when it comes to handling customer issues from the day before that couldn’t be handled because you weren’t there. Just my two cents. Staff is friendly it just seems like a problem from the top down. When management take a hands off approach that’s noticed by everyone .I’ll be avoiding this location for the time being. Much better off going to the location in South Plainfield if you’re looking for Panda Express.

My first time. Not my last. Bryan was incredibly kind and helpful. I didn’t know what I was doing. He walked me through the ordering, and described the items. He even offered a taste. The Food was incredible. (Walnut shrimp) And affordable.

I didn't like the way management at this location behaves. They behave like they are giving you a handout. I am paying for the food, expect to get what I am paying for, not scraps on the bottom of the serving tray & 2 pieces of meat.
Ronda made my plate today and it was absolutely amazing, hands down the friendliest staff, best portion sizes, and professional panda express in the area, i had the honey sesame with orange chicken, 1/2 super greens, 1/2 white rice, it was super good, overall can tell this group of staff take their job seriously, they deserve raises. 10/10
