They told me that they had honey but I couldn't add it to my smoothie, because its only for there bowls and I dont see any posted policie that states this. So if you have it and im willing to pay for you to add it but you won't, whats the problem.

I got the peanut power plus, I had the beautiful opportunity to be served by Annabella. She greeted me with a big smile, told me all her recommendations. She turned a terrible day into one of the brightest days. Annabella deserves everything this job has to offer. Thank you to whoever hired her, I will be coming back.

Smoothies are always great here. But service is consistently bad. Staff never smiles, not friendly and barely speak. They should be properly trained in customer service. Including taking earbuds out so they can hear a customer when a customer is asking a question. Completely unprofessional. The smoothies themselves are exceptional.

I enjoy Smoothie King and always have, specifically the Clark, NJ location. But for the past several months there has been a huge difference and it’s the service and atmosphere. The supposed “manager” Tim should never work in hospitality or the food and beverage service industry EVER. He has a poor attitude and is extremely nasty when he thinks no one is watching. I have been going to the Avenel location to avoid being served by this man.

I live in the area and started coming here to get smoothies for my family in the evenings. However, after several visits, I’m really disappointed with the customer service. Out of the seven times I’ve been here, at least five have been unpleasant.

Each time I go through the drive-thru, I’m greeted with a flat, monotone “What would you like?”—as if the person doesn’t want to be there. When I pull up to the window, there’s no warmth, no professionalism—just coldness. The entire experience feels unwelcoming, as if I’m inconveniencing them rather than being a valued customer.

It’s frustrating because this location is so convenient for me, but after experiencing this repeatedly, it seems like this isn’t just an off day—it’s the standard here. The location on Rt 22 is much more professional and courteous, which shows that good service is possible. A little effort goes a long way, but unfortunately, I haven’t seen it here.

Not pleasant at all. I walked into the store no one said hello! how can I help you!?! The guy with the lashes and bun walked in the back returned (after about 2-3 mins of me standing and waiting) to the front and asked “oh you ready” in which i was ready when I walked into the store and he walked in the back! my drink was made placed on the corner and slide to me! umm….. I’m not going to pull the race card, however customer service is definitely not their Forte.. Retraining is a must! Maybe they hate working on Sundays!

I get the same exact thing every time, so smoothies can be hit or miss depending who’s working I guess. but whoever worked on September 9th, 2024 around 8pm, may you get a raise and have everything you want in life. I wish whoever worked that evening could always work bc that was the best smoothie I’ve had ever at this location. I would literally give my first born child up to have that smoothie again 😔 still thinking about it

I ordered an acai bowl with just strawberry’s which they got right and then i said “pineapple mango” and pointed to the refresher with the big title that “pineapple mango”, which is $4 around and my total is $22 which i think is a lot but i pay and just get a reciept and i see that i got charged $7.69 for “island impact” and tell them i wanted the refresher nicely, then a girl with freckles which i guess is the manager working today comes over and helps me NICELY with the refund and i pay and expect my bowl to look normal, the original cashier literally gave me an attitude for no reason when i was being nice because i know how it is working in customer service but i literally was being nice and they gave me a bowl 1/4 the way full?? i put a photo comparison of the amount of just ACAI of mine vs my friend and she got topping a which makes it look bigger but still the amount of literally JUST acai is insane like okay be disrespectful
