Food and service was great!! Waitress' name was Debbie and she was sooooo nice! Perfect service all the way around! Very warm and comforting environment, and the food was FANTASTIC!!! Next time we visit New Jersey we will be making a special stop to eat here, but to also see our favorite waitress!Kid-friendliness: They have special kids menus, they can choose their own food, and the meals come with a lot of options for sides, they also have the choice for a scoop of ice cream after their meal so that was fun! (My child opted out of the ice cream and chose creme brulee ☺️) The kids menu also has coloring areas and tic tac toe to keep the kids busy while you order and eat! Our waitress, and another waitress who came over to talk to my daughter and compliment her hair, were very friendly, just an overall great interaction!!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps to get Inside the doors, someone to help hold the door open for you if needed, and the person holding the door is someone who is intellectually challenged so all tips they make for holding the door get donated to helping out people who are challenged that need the help! I thought that was amazing! There are also plenty of tables to sit at with wheelchair accessibility, if not I'm sure the staff would be happy to accommodate you in anyway to help!

The place is unbeatable. It has an extensive menu with breakfasts, lunches that include soup or salad, and bread with pancakes; They also have burgers, pastas, sandwiches, and brunch. I ordered the Mediterranean chicken with minestrone soup and it was delicious, a great variety of vegetables and a very generous portion! Our waitress Katrina was very friendly, her service was great and she recommended dishes to our liking!! We will be back!!!

Thank you to the chef who actually served real "Fried onions" on my husband's fried potatoes. These were nice brown fried onions not white/tan sauté onions. This is the only diner in this area that knew how to make FRIED onions. Thank you to the waitress for getting this correct. Always good good and service at The Lamp Post Diner!

It was Monday I had pto it was sunny outside and my man wanted waffles every BELGIUM on top of that though he's never ACTUALLY had BELGIUM waffles which are made in London which I had the liberty of tasting on my trip to London in November 2023 when visiting my cousin. Yes half my family lives in Britain. Every breakfast/ brunch place was closed ? on a Monday smh.I have passed by this diner a few times when I relocated back to the eastcoast. The service was fast we were seated fast but we were seated in the back where it seemed to be away from the crowd. The server was nice ,attentive and courteous and our BELGIUM smothered waffles were served fast. The wait wasn't long. The helping is alot for 1 persons I actually ended up taking the remainder home.He loved his waffle. It was edible in my opinion, not bad at all however I know what a real BELGIUM waffle taste like and it was missing that sugary coated flavor that a BELGIUM waffle has! Other than that, this is a pretty huge establishment so if your looking for a quick place to drop in just to get out the house amd get a good breakfast that won't hurt your pockets I'd say try this place !

We had a wonderful meal. They were busy but the 10 minute wait to be seated was worth it! Michele (with one "L") was a great server. My burger and salad was phenomenal.
