The staff is amazing!!!!! The food is great! I just had their food on Saturday and went back again today!!! I had the jerk ribs…..omgggg so good and tender! Rice was a little dry that day. My coworker had jerk chicken she said that was good as well.
Today babyyyyy the curry chicken!!!! I almost choked I ate it so fast ! And beyond tender the chicken was juicy and the rice today very good!

We got the jerk pork and brown stew chicken with rice peas and cabbage. It was all good we have to go back to try the mac n cheese and meat patties they were all sold out. The people serving were very very nice!!

First let me begin by saying the owners are THEEEEE NICEST people I’ve ever encountered at any jamaican restaurant I’ve been to. They are very welcoming and they greet you with proper attitude. Excuse me as I forget the name of the gentlemen who is usually always behind the counter serving these DELICIOUS platters. For it being my first time going, I ordered 2 platters. A platter of oxtail, rice & peas, with cabbage & also a platter of curry chicken and cabbage w/ white rice on the side. EVERYTHING met my expectations; even to the spiciness in the curry. I loved every bite of it, as well as the other person I’ve brought the platter for. The owner allowed me to sample his stew chicken, which was also another great choice.
To be completely fair, I’m not sure why there’s negative reviews when I’ve received nothing but outstanding energy and mouthwatering food from this establishment. As of June 2025, you’ve earned a loyal customer. KEEP THRIVING!!!

Tried this restaurant on a whim while doing errands on Saturday. All of us agreed it was one of the freshest, tastiest meals!! Had the jerk chicken and mac and cheese. Ridiculously delicious! Owner was super friendly.

Definitely try their jerk chicken, you can’t go wrong. And get the large size vs the small, it’s worth the upcharge. The jerk chicken isn’t as spicy as some other places (great for those who can’t eat spice) but the flavor is there. The skin absorbs all the nice flavors of the jerk spices and the meat is juicy and flavorful. Love their rice and beans too.

I gave this place a try because of the glowing reviews. When I arrived, there were a good amount of people waiting. For me that’s usually a good sign. The place is very small, I went up to the counter and the gentleman making platters greeted me and let me know he’d get to me shortly. I assumed the people waiting had already ordered but they had not.

It’s a unique experience. I felt like I was at my Uncle’s house waiting my turn to get my plate made. The gentleman taking orders and serving the food is very personable and they make you feel like family.

Now to the food. I had the oxtails, rice and peas and cabbage. I also got a side of mac. The oxtails were very flavorful and well seasoned, fall off the bone tender. I would order the oxtails again. I also enjoyed the cabbage, it had more flavor than I expected. The rice and peas were standard, not incredible but pretty good.

My only gripe was the macaroni and cheese. If you have experience with Jamaican restaurants you know the mac can be hit or miss. The thing about it is that the flavor of the mac was delicious. It was seasoned well and very cheesy, but it was kind of oily which let me know it was either made yesterday and/or preheated from cold quickly (likely both) in this scenario. To me mac is one of those items that have to be served fresh and if it had been it would’ve been really good. I ended up not eating it due to this reason.

Overall, I would come back again if I was in the area because of the great customer service and you can tell the food is made with love. I want to try some of their other items.

5 stars all across the board!! This is the closest you will get to an authentic Jamaican food experience; if you close your eyes while eating you can convince yourself you are in Kingston. My girlfriend is Jamaican so she is a good judge. Not only is the food top tier but the portions are more than generous. This is the only meal you will need for the day. We got the jerk chicken platter with cabbage and rice/peas, perfection! We also got a side of mac & cheese and it was flawless, almost like soul food mac and cheese. We also got a fruit punch and mango juice from the fridge inside. The workers were so personable we laughed, joked and got to know each other while the food was being prepared. Truly a top tier experience and cannot to go back again soon!
