Well lit, clean restaurant with friendly staff. Wait time is a little long, but that's because your food is made fresh when you order it, and they give you A LOT of food at a more than reasonable price, especially in today's economy. I discovered this place while making doordash deliveries, and I just had to check it out for myself. I ordered the Grateful Grits and Positive Pancakes. BRUH! The grits are so savory with the gouda mixed in. And they give you so much, it feels like a meal on its own. I was full, but I still had to polish off the Positive Pancake sandwich. DELICIOUS. Perfect combination of savory and sweet. I didn't have to eat again until the next day, and guess what got? MORE DELICIOUS BREAKFAST FROM THAT BREAKFAST SPOT. Please, if you're in the South Jersey area, you have to try this place out. I love seeing black businesses win, and this place is a winner for sure! Keep up the great work. ??

For starters i've been here about two times before this and both times my food took FOREVER to come out. This time I sat home and ordered a pick up order via door dash so i wouldn't have to sit in the lobby too long. Ordered my food at 9:07a door dash told me my food would be ready at 9:38a. i left my house at 9:30a (mind you i only live 5 mins away] i got there and the line was out the door (immediate thought was yesss love to see that for a black owned business] but i'm like the 5th person in line with about 2 groups behind me. The cashier takes everyone in front of me and as i get to the register she asks me if i needed to order or pickup. i advised her that i actually placed an online order and that it was a pickup for me and not a door dash. The cashier tells me "well you can stand to the side". I stated that door dash said my food was ready for pick up and if the containers available were one of mine (due to me not wanting cold breakfast food). The cashier then states that she would have to bag it all up so she advised me that I could step to the side and wait. I then stated that I ordered online so i could avoid the wait or be subjected to eat cold food. She then thinks that's appropriate to tell me " I can calm down". I start to explain to her it's not your position to tell anyone to calm down your the cashier to take an order and keep it going.. but it was okay i stood to the side and just waited for my food to get cold (mind you fulll lobby NOT A SINGLE SOUL HAS FOOD !!! but this is what the back counter looks like ... so as i'm standing off to the side, on the phone with my fiancée because i'm visibly upset, the cashier continues to be very rude stating to the people getting their order taken "yes i'm the only one up here, i have to state that because i guess its not obvious" making rude comments as such. The customer, in which she made the comment to then states to the cashier "its not that deep". The cashier then goes on to say "yes, i know but to some people it is" so of course i think she's still talking about me so i said "it's that deep to me you have a counter full or food and a lobby full of people with no food... i have somewhere i have to be that's why i ordered in advance so i can pick up and go" ... cashier then proceed to call the COPS on me because i voiced my opinion over what she said .. yes the cops did come and told me they don't have to serve me so i had to get out, which i know is a business law but it was the principle! i left with no food! no money refunded! no apology from anyone in the store! also doordash told me my refund would be $0!!! i had to go through a loophole to contact doordash to get a refund. I solely run a successful nail business with a mass following so i know exactly how customer service works and this isn't it! 0 stars all around!!

Really cute spot with a very friendly owner. I really want to give a higher score, but similar to other reviews, this spot has some painful flaws. When you come in, you grab a menu but then have to go back up to the register to order. Then, when you get your food, it comes in to go containers. I got there French toast,sausage egg sandwich and it barely fit in the container, which made it difficult to eat. The sandwich was also way of balance when it came to egg and sausage the pile a bunch of small sausage patties in the middle and a little egg to the side. I love the idea and their names on the foods are creative. Not bad but not what it could be. Also they ran out of water.. so yeah, that's new. The place has a nice vibe with hip hop jazz that set a nice mood but the kitchen is open to the dining area and they were playing other music that was really loud and just made the overall vibe not work. With a few changes, this place could be a big hit, but as it stands, I don't see a bright future for it. I hope they listen to their reviews. The owner was really sweet and seems like she really wants it. Let's see what she does. Good luck.
If I paid for food and I’m not satisfied or have a question about it I should be able to address it. This place is black owned which is a plus and they have beef bacon which is a plus also. I’ve been multiple times and usually it’s decent. But the last several times I’ve gone have been crazy. They don’t take criticism well, I was humble and respectful when addressing a concern, you can tell they were mad at me for even saying anything. Mad attitude from the chefs in the back and yelling out to you in opposition to your concern. Lastly the beef bacon was over cooked and not edible. When no complaints this place is a good spot. If any concerns they’re on go with dirty looks and confrontational responses.

Probably one of the best omelette’s I have ever had !!! Loaded with cheese & vegetables and meat. Home fries were excellent; packed with peppers & onions.
My family was traveling in town for a showcase..We searched a breakfast restaurant and "That Breakfast Spot" pop up and we agree that was place we wanted to go...service and food was slap your mom good...next time we in town stopping by for round two.
