The food here is pretty good, just be careful with ordering the steak as sometimes the cook can be a little off. We ordered the porterhouse for two and one side was basically well done and the other side was medium. It wasn’t a huge deal for us since we like our steak both ways, but I can see where this can be a problem with others that are very particular with their preferred steak doneness.

We tried this place for the first time and the food was very good; it was better than we expected. It was very busy at Friday night so we were lucky to have reservation. The atmosphere is casual and noisy, but we could still talk. Only the problem is parking. Cliffside Park has narrow streets with speed bumps all over. We managed to park in front of the restaurant. We’ve been trying to find a good and reasonable restaurant for a while and this is it.

I was traveling from out of town and found this resturant and decided to give it a shot. It is very good. Everything tastes fresh and they give you plenty. My only critique would be the dishes we tried lacked salt. They had a variety of other spices, which were clearly balanced and tasted good but they just lacked some salt to really bump it up a notch. We tried steak, yellow and brown rice and beans, plantains, pasta a la vodka, chicken finger and fries, bbq chicken wings as well as beef empanadas and guava empanadas. We are Hispanic and have had very good Hispanic food from all over the world and I would put this place right up there with some of the best when rating their cuban dishes. The service was also incredible. I would say pricing is also fair for the food quality and quantity you are receiving. The atmosphere is quaint and intimate. I will critique the establishment on it having a slight musty odor, which did impact my experience just slightly. It seems like an older building. If they invested in some small renovations to find the source of that odor and improve it as well as update it just a bit so it looked less like a tavern, I believe that would enhance the experience especially since this is considered fine dining.

Absolutely disgusting experience from start to finish. When I asked for a table, the host claimed there were none available—even though I could clearly see multiple empty tables. Once we were finally seated, we sat there for 15 minutes before anyone even bothered to acknowledge us, despite the place being nearly empty.
We ordered an appetizer, and after one bite, we realized the center was still frozen. Then our meals arrived—only to find that items we ordered were missing. Of course, our server was nowhere to be found. By the time we were almost finished with our meals, we flagged him down to mention the missing items, and only then did he finally bring them out.
I always try to support local restaurants, but this was an absolute disaster. The service was terrible, and the food was even worse. Never again.

I use to order from that place on regular basis. Unfortunately everything going downhil. Food getting worse and worst. It seams that cook has no idea what medium rear is. Last two orders was well done almost burned, LATE AND COLD Never again. STAY AWAY!!! There are many other better steakhouses in the area

Amazing place! The waiter recommended the baby back ribs and they were soooo good. The meat slid right off the bone. Portions were good.

I celebrated New Year's Eve at this amazing restaurant, and from the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed! The atmosphere was warm and vibrant, creating an energy that instantly made us feel at home. I came with my family, and although we forgot to make a reservation, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us—there were six of us, plus a baby!
The food was absolutely phenomenal, and the drinks were top-notch! Our server, Rosemary, was a true gem, and the bartender, Selvin, really knew how to craft the perfect cocktails. I regret not taking any pictures of the delicious food, drinks, and the lively setting, but we were having so much fun that we didn’t even think to pull out our phones.
As the countdown to midnight approached, the staff passed out champagne and fun New Year's accessories to celebrate, which was a lovely touch. I highly recommend this place for any special occasion or celebration—it was the perfect way to ring in the New Year!
