Been coming here for years. Never disappoints. I did see a few reviews speaking negatively about the chashu. I have to admit, for a while the Chashu was a pork loin so we stopped coming for a bit. Came back today to see a familiar face back behind the counter. Needless to say it felt like home. Chashu is back and so is the flavor. Hope those that had the bad chashu experience make it back. Such a great place. Hopefully see you all there soon. Cheers!!

I (a Black woman) went in to pick up my order. The guy *eventually* asked me what I was there for and I told him, but he continued looking at his phone. Another patron (a man who spoke the same language as him) came in seconds later for the same reason and the person at the front *immediately* tried to assist him by looking at the order that was ready on the shelf. It wasn’t his order. The man puts it back on the shelf and I look down and see it’s MY order. I told the man as pointedly as I could before grabbing it myself and walking out. I did NOT appreciate how obvious the difference in treatment was. Work on your biases.

The black bear ramen is my favorite, the broth is rich and thick and it 100% will fill you up. I also love the pork buns. The service is usually quick and the staff is very nice.
Parking: There’s a shared parking lot that’s, but street parking is usually available I’ve always parked no more than a 2 minute walk

Food portions were great. We were filled. Very tasty. We had the Tom Yum ramen, the chicken dumplings and the Chicken Shoyu Gyokai. One of the best parts was the service we received from EO. Very attentive and patient. All our questions were answered and we never felt rushed. Would come back and recommend this location to others.
Best Ramen place. I'm a fan of Ramen and noodles and I've been to places big name places like ichiran in the city, but blackbeard just has the best best Ramen hands down. I highly recommend their red curry ramen if u like spicy and curry. This ramen you can't get anywhere else and I'm literally addicted its so good.
