GREAT FOOD.. Sushi for 2 [the boat] was great and Gold Coast value. noticed a terrible 9d9r from the carpeting, so I only do take out now.. Same carpet and furnish from when prior owner closed 4 yrs ago.

We had Sushi for Two when we visited. Sushi and Sashimi came in a big boat and the quantity was huge. However, sushi rice (big portion) was not good...soft and flat.

Just walked in today and ordered a Shrimp Tempura Bento Box Lunch. This order came in with a Salad with Ginger Dressing and Miso Soup. The food was fresh and well prepared and presented. The young server was attentive and friendly. I am definitively coming back to explore more items from the menu.

First time here and give the food 10/10.Presentation was great as well!We ordered a seaweed salad and the portion was enough for two people, that was a plus!It happened to be lunch time and they have a special so we ordered the chicken hibachi which comes with soup and salad.and then the special of three rolls and soup and salad, which we got spicy shrimp & crab and a christmas roll (tuna, avocado and masago)They brought out the soups and salad first, loved how it was presented it to us. Then the main entrees.The food was super well cooked and fresh.Then for dessert we had a tempura cheesecake, omg so delicious! and loved the plate it came in!Overall great eating experience.Wish the waiter was more chatty lol but that’s ok!I would def be coming back!!

Poor mgmt, i went there today 7/10/2021, hour of operation 12-11pm friday and Saturday. I was there at 12.10pm and inside was pitch black. Finally at 12.20someone answered phone and staff just arrived. this in turn means another15-20 minutes to prep. Cant run an operation like this. If you say you will be open at 12, you should be ready to welcome customers. Local minimart has better operation than this restaurant. I gave 1 star becausemgmt seems like novice.

Fish is fresh and food is good. Service is also excellent. But PLEASE GUT OUT THAT CARPET FROM LIKE THE 1990s!! It stained, unsightly and it smells!!

Very good pricing. Quality fresh ingredients but non sushi dshes are not authentically flavored but still fine. Age dashi tofu was not acceptable, though the tofu inside was good. Rock shrimp tempura is a winner. Sushi rolls had some interesting flavors and again very generous. Hibachi dish with quality generous portion but drowning in sauce. Mixed reviews. Curry was not acceptable and too soupy and not Japanese style. Hope they fix that. Think Chinese Japanese fusion on many dishes. Inside decor is hideous and old, likely no change from prior decades run Japanese restaurant. Friendly service but inconsistent with many mistakes but as it was the opening week, makes sense. BYOB is mega bonus.
