Istanbul Börek and Kebab is a cozy, welcoming spot in New Jersey serving authentic Turkish cuisine, their börek is perfectly crisp and savory, the kebabs are juicy and flavorful, and the friendly staff make every visit feel like home.

Don’t come here! Place was completely empty. Food was old and the lamb chops tasted rotten and the rice was cold. Nothing was fresh. My mom got food poisoning and the waitress was rude. They threw the drinks on the table in the same cans without any cups. Not worth the money/trip

We came 15 miles this morning just to eat Istanbul borek, Because it was closed even though u wrote on Google that it was open. Why doesn't a quality Turkish business owner (like in our country) come to this country? Why are there only low quality business owners here who will tarnish the name of our country?
Plus, the open sign is still on the door!!!!

Our server Dilan was great. She is a true professional with a beautiful smile. The food is always the best of Turkish cuisine and reasonably priced. A must ho to restaurant.

This is the best restaurant in NJ for Mediterranean food and specially Turkish food. The kebabs and iskembe corbasi were excellent. Our server Dilan was excellent! She has a charm and very good understanding of serving. I will recommend without hesitance. She made us to have a very good experience💕

I’ve tried their crispy lahmacun and cold appetizers twice so far and really enjoyed it! 🤤 Looking forward to trying some other options in the future. The setting is spacious, quiet, and accessible for any group. Sharing some updated menu pics as I noticed their prices have changed compared to what appears in other reviews.

If I can give negative stars, I would the service is beyond bad and and the waitress needs to be trained. This place used to be good years ago, but now it's garbage they can't even make scrambled eggs. This is what I received when I ordered scrambled eggs. 🤦🏽i tried eating them but couldn't and 3 eggs for $12 I feel like a sucker i paid but will never come back.
