This spot is such a gem! A unique Peruvian-Japanese fusion restaurant that really stands out. I tried the oysters, chafa Peruvian, and ceviches, and pork chaufa. All dishes were incredible but my favorite was ceviche, truly some of the best ceviche I’ve ever had. The staff is attentive, it’s BYOB, and the quiet neighborhood makes it a perfect place to meet up with friends. Definitely an amazing addition to the area!
Wow. Let’s start there. I haven’t had a dining experience like I had at Minka Nikkei in a whiiiile! I was here for my birthday dinner with my family and as our server Paz said when I asked “what’s good here that you recommend?” the answer she gave was “everything.” Granted, this is her job so she “should” say that right? But homegirl don’t lie! Everything we had was delicious. We ordered:

From the moment we walked in, the service was excellent. Our waiter was so attentive and took the time to guide us through the menu. Every dish was packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. Honestly, we kept asking ourselves, “who are these people?!”...
