My friend had the “special” pasta with pumpkin and sausage. It was awful - chunks of pumpkin with store bought rotini spiral pasta and crumbled sausage. I had osso buco - very small portion at $44.00. My husband had seafood maraciada - seafood was not fresh. My carpaccio app was sliced beef that was still partially frozen when served. Our other friend has calves liver which he enjoyed. Too bad - we used to like going there.

I have been going to Amalfi for some time. The prices for the food have become outrageous. For one person, I spent over 100.00 for dinner. My main course was Ravioli with crab. It was disgusting. The sauce was ok, but the crab was awful. I know prices have gone up, but this is ridiculous. If things do not change, I will not be returning. Also, the stuffed artichoke I had was terrible. People should not be taken advantage of like this.

The food and service was good. Prices are no great value. Ambiance is cold...too bright...no warmth or charm although clean and comfortable.

We sat at the bar and shared a stuffed artichoke and braised short ribs over pappardelle, both were good . The cocktails were well made and the wine by the glass also good. The passticiere dessert was delicious.

It's like going home for a great meal. The service is professional and welcoming, the food is great, and the atmosphere is relaxing.

Had dinner with a group of friends. Service was poor and so was the food. Steak arrived rare instead of medium rare- it was towards blue. Veal chops looked like a steak; they were a poor cut, rubbery and sent back. Had a hard time getting water refills and drink refills. Dessert arrived and was finished before coffees were served.

1Fine diners please "check your receipt before leaving the restaraunt" as per Nick and Jimmy Managers. I called Villa Amalfi immediatly after arriving home and noticed I was charged for (4) four Appitizer orders of Shrimp Cocktails (2 $20 & 1 $10 & 1 $10) receipt attached. My spouse and I were the only indoor patrons and couple at the bar. Service was fabulous and food awesome as usual. The only disappointment was the tone of Nick's voice when I called to advise the error on receipt. He told me you are calling for $20.00 to take it up with American Express and hung up. Wow, I thought they were a reputable establishment. I will not be recommending Villa Amalfi to anyone. In this climate Managemnet lacks being respectable and Not trustworthy!!! :(...

From the minute Ai walked in and was welcomed by the crew I knew I would like the restaurant. The food was fantastic. I ordered the fish from yeh special menu, we ordered other food from the regular menu. Every dish was par excellence. The service was second to none. Very very highly recommended for family, businessman also entertaining anyone. You want it to be special... go to Avila Amalgi Clifford park, Fort Lee

This restaurant has been here for decades. It’s a staple of the area. As newcomers we wanted to give it a try . Warmly welcomed by the hostess . Comfortable seating so you are not on top of the adjacent table. Food was good - not outstanding but very nice. Service was very slow. Some of the waiters have been there for decades also. Maybe get some new staff to perk it up a bit.

My wife and I and friends met for dinner at Villa Amalfi. The restaurant is a fine dining Italian restaurant in Cliffside Park New Jersey. Villa Amalfi serves lunch and dinner, has a full bar with a separate bar area and offers private dining and private party rooms. We began with a special appetizer of stuffed zucchini flowers. The flowers were large, cooked perfectly and over stuffed with ricotta. We chose entrees of shrimp stuffed with crab meat over lemon risotto, a grilled double cut veal chop and a special of braised short ribs over pappardelle pasta. The shrimp were large with a good portion of crab meat, the veal chop grilled nicely and the short ribs so tender they fell from the bone. For dessert, we shared a tiramisu and a warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream. The atmosphere is sophisticated and the service was professional and friendly. Villa Amalfi is a great choice for exceptional Italian cuisine.

Did attend a private party. That was very nice. CLEAN place. Valet parking. Food was good. Cant comment on the sit down area as I was at an event. Highly recommend if your looking for a private event.
