Rudys offers delicious traditional Italian cuisine and attentive service. The atmosphere is nostalgic, resembling a cozy Sunday dinner at grandma's house. The calamari was expertly cooked, tender on the inside and crispy on the outside, with a flavorful marinara sauce. The bread was fantastic, and the generous portion of spaghetti with crab meat could easily feed three people. Our waitress, Giatana, was sweet and enhanced our experience with her authenticity. We will definitely be returning

The smell of urine from the bathroom near the bar was disgusting for me and my wife Dinner was good but not going back
Absolutely the best fried calamari in New Jersey. Also had the chicken cutlet parmigiana hero. Excellent choice. The wait service is excellent as well. Always making sure you are taken care of. Like family here. So when you are in the Cliffside Park area or not you should make your way over to Rudy's.

I used to go here on a weekly basis about 26 years ago prior to moving out of state. I took my wife here on a family visit and the place continues to remain a staple in the area. Not much has changed with the decor and memories are all over the walls to e displayed. Also, the food is still amazing. The calamari and spicy marinara was just as great as I remembered it being. Staff is very friendly and I will always go back whenever I am in the area.

Great food and service, but the place is small, so call ahead for a reservation.

Fried calamari is a must!!!
It was our first time eating here and I called ahead for a reservation. It was very busy, definitely a locals spot. I’ve been wanting to try it after hearing rave reviews about the calamari. The food was excellent, although it did take a long time to come out. The service was great and they were apologetic about the wait time. Worth the wait for the quality of the food.

There was one waitress. It was Monday night that just passed. I wish I remembered her name. She was great. She waited on all the tables and service was fast and she was very sweet. It was my bday and she offered to sing happy birthday to me. I'll definitely be back.
