This was our second time here and it did not disappoint. We arrived at our reservation time and seated immediately and asked if we wanted to be near the live jazz band or further away. Service was prompt and friendly. Cocktails here have now been outstanding both times. The rice balls for appetizer were tasty. My wife enjoyed the Penne a la Genovese for the second time and I had the Lemon Chicken. Both of us brought home leftovers. The ricotta zeppole for dessert were tasty as well. While not inexpensive, most good Italian places are not. We will likely be back.

I recently had dinner at Rustica, and while the overall experience was enjoyable, there were a few elements that left me wanting more—especially given the higher-end price point.

We started with appetizers: the crab cake and the calamari. Presentation was nice, but taste-wise, both fell a bit short. The calamari, though plentiful, was overly crunchy, bordering on tough rather than crisp. The crab cake was fine—nothing standout, and certainly not bursting with flavor as I had hoped. For the price, I expected a more refined and memorable start to the meal.

Thankfully, the main course delivered. The entrées were flavorful and well-prepared, which helped balance out our initial impressions. While I can’t speak to the full menu, the quality of the main dishes showed that the kitchen is capable of more.

The ambiance is cozy, and the restaurant features a lovely outdoor patio area, which unfortunately was closed during our visit. It’s a shame, as it would have added a nice touch to the dining experience.

In summary, Rustica is a decent spot with some high points, especially when it comes to the main courses. That said, the appetizers and the overall value for the price might leave some diners underwhelmed. It's worth a visit, but be prepared to pay premium prices for a meal that may not fully meet upscale expectations.

What a lovely spot! The decor and ambiance is perfect for date night or a gathering of friends. Our server helped us select a bold, but smooth red wine and was friendly the entire time. Everything we ordered was beyond tasty. We started with the grilled octopus. I ordered the tuna and the hubby had the bolognese. Both were perfectly portioned and super delicious. We ended the night by sharing the chocolate lava cake and it was the proverbial cherry on top of a great meal. I will say, we like to eat early, but we did end up leaving just as the live jazz was getting started. It sounded like it was shaping up to be a very entertaining evening.

Place and deco nice, food was ok. Crap wine list, they don’t have much and when you asked for the wine they bring you the same but much younger for the same price . Please be aware.

We went to Rustica for Mother's Day. The prix fixe menu was copious and delicious! Service was outstanding. In addition, there was an amazing two musician live band. We highly recommend Rustica!

The ambiance was refreshing. My wife and I had the ribeye (medium well) and penne vodka. Delicious!

Terrific job as usual. The jazz duo were terrific. Creamy Tuscan Chicken is such a terrific blend of flavors and not at all heavy. Mediterranean Salmon is so light and refreshing. Tuna tartare appetizer is not to be missed! An orange infused Manhattan is certainly apropos for a night of jazz.
