From the onset Visar the waiter made us feel welcome. He was very professional and helpful. I had duck alla rustica with wild rice but it was much too fatty. I would have preferred an oven roasted half duck that appeared on a previous menu. My friend had Penne alla Genovese and was very satisfied. There was wonderful jazz and that really was a plus.
This was our second time here and it did not disappoint. We arrived at our reservation time and seated immediately and asked if we wanted to be near the live jazz band or further away. Service was prompt and friendly. Cocktails here have now been outstanding both times. The rice balls for appetizer were tasty. My wife enjoyed the Penne a la Genovese for the second time and I had the Lemon Chicken. Both of us brought home leftovers. The ricotta zeppole for dessert were tasty as...
I recently had dinner at Rustica, and while the overall experience was enjoyable, there were a few elements that left me wanting more—especially given the higher-end price point.
