Came here to try out and the food was delicious! It was a calm atmosphere there was plenty of parking right outside (street parking) overall it was a nice surprise I hadn’t been here before as I am not from this area but it was great! Would definitely come back again. We had calamari to start and it was seasons and cooked perfectly and I had grilled shrimp with grilled vegetables and the person I was there with had the churrasco grilled vegetables and mash potatoes. My shrimp was seasoned and grilled just right and the grilled veggies did their thing too my whole dish was amazing and the churrasco was grilled and cooked perfectly and similarly the veggies were just a side but uplifted the whole dish!

The food was good but expensive. The service was slow. There were not that many people in the restaurant for the service to take as long as it did.

I’m not Going to lie the place is cool but I was instantly disappointed when I was charged 50$ for 3 “lunch” dishes when they had their sign outside that said 10$ each lunch dish , the ready to go food wash only limited not much options

Very very overpriced. Food was just ok.. bland and greasy which is sad because Dominicans dont usually cook this way. Passion fruit was very good. They need to change there listing because we were looking for Bohemian Bistro. They included 15 percent gratuity.. is this legal? We didnt tip.

We came, expecting the restaurant Bohemian Bistro, which was still listed as open on Google. We had heard good things about it and the online menu looked appealing. When we arrived and saw the different name, the waitress told us it was much of the same menu — just a name change. We sat down and ordered drinks and then realized the menu was very different than what we were expecting. We ordered a steak ($24), crispy chicken bites ($12), and a garden salad ($8). We waited a very long time for our food, and when it was brought out, the order was incorrect. They brought fried pork belly rather than crispy chicken bites. The waitress said that was what I had ordered, when I had not. She said it would take a while to make the chicken, and I said ok. While we waited, I ate the salad which was shredded iceberg lettuce and a few tomatoes, with what tasted like a takeout pouch of dressing. When the chicken came out, it didn’t even look like chicken. When you read crispy chicken bites on a menu, do you not expect chicken nuggets or tenders? These were bone-in fried chicken scraps without any breading. Not the breast or wings or legs. Basically the scrap joints. I didn’t eat them. The bill came and my husband paid. We left and I asked how much it was. He said $71. I started doing the math and it didn’t add up. Got to the car and looked at the receipt. They had added a 15% tip on the bill already, which we didn’t realize — then we added 20% tip despite the food and service. Curious if they add that on for all of their 2-person tables or if it was to make us pay for the pork belly error. Oh, and they charged us $2 for a glass of water. Disappointed all around.

Unfortunately, this meal did not meet expectations. The rice was dry like it had been an overnight rice. The beans were bland and dried, and the meat was extremely grease. Overall, the dish seemed carelessly prepared and did not reflect the quality or freshness I was hoping for. With better attention to flavor, texture, and presentation, this could be a solid option — but as it stands, I would not recommend it.

Ordered the chimichurri skirt steak to go, the steak was burnt, very tough, and dry. The sides were mashed potatoes and asparagus & I only received the mashed potatoes. Would not recommend

Now called El Pilon, is a great place to go, family friendly with a kids menu is a little loud, but with nice music. The food was looked great. Great presentation. The guacomole was fresh and delicious, but the chicken was a little dry.

This place is no longer Bohemian Bistro! Completely different name: El Pilón with different menu: a good variety of Latin American food. The service and food were great and really friendly atmosphere. Place is BYO and if you don’t like being charged for water BYOW as well :) I would recommend this place for its skirt steak and empanadas but everything on the menu we tried was really good!
