It has new owners and not the menu that is online. Food is good but limited. Small place.

We stumbled upon the restaurant randomly and we are so glad we did. We were greeted warmly when we entered. The service was a team effort as they were attentive, but made the dining experience relaxed.. My husband ordered the gnocchi and I ordered the burger. Both were fantastic and we are looking forward to trying other items on the menu. A little hidden gem....we will be back!

What a disappointment with the service.
We were 3 people. First they brought only one meal and after a while after waiting for about half an hour he asked the waiter about the other 2 meals and upon checking he realized that he had not ordered them. We lost time and appetite and to make matters worse the soft drinks were out of soda. We left almost at 10 at night without dinner and we were the only ones in the restaurant.

The food was amazing and the waitress Pilar was incredibly friendly and such a treat to have as a waitress. Looking forward to coming back! I and my family all highly recommend coming!

I had a fantastic time having brunch with my family. The menu was great. No issues finding something great for everyone. The service was outstanding. The food was brought out in a timely fashion. We were in a group of six and we didn't have any problems with our food. I highly recommend Bohemian Bistro for a nice family meal or celebrating a special occasion.

Have to say, I was looking forward to trying this place based on the reviews and photos.

Staff were friendly and attentive. Ambiance was nice, as well as the decor. Low lighting and good vibes as soon as you walk in. Very cool!

To start, we ordered 2 orders of beef empanadas that come 2 per order and the honey chipotle wings. Disastrously, 3 out of the 4 empanadas were overpoweringly oily. Not sure if the oil from the fryer got into them, but nevertheless very disappointing. Especially, for the $5 price point. Even the one that wasn’t greasy, that I could actually taste was just ok. Again, not worth $5.

For the record, I was born and raised in Hudson County. If you know, you know. I have a good idea of what an empanada should taste like.

Next, the honey chipotle wing sauce was amazing. Had a nice pop of spice as well. Love the way the sauce glazed over the wings (visually stunning), and the sesame seeds were a nice compliment. Perfect sauce to wing ratio. However, the wings were a little dry. They were also small, so they can be overcooked easily.

For my entree, I ordered the Picanha (favorite cut) medium rare. Unfortunately, the meat was mostly gray and looked dry after cutting into it. I sent it back and was offered a new steak, but I kindly refused. The server returned and said that the “chef” would be making a new Picahna dish free of charge. He insisted that I take it home and later left it in a bag on the table. I’ll get back to that.

My nephew ordered the char grilled bone in chicken. The presentation was great, but the rice was “mushy”, as said by him. The leg portion of the chicken was under cooked, but the attached thigh was perfectly cooked and juicy, according to him. He complained that he did not like Aji Verde sauce. His entree also came with tostones, but they were greasy. Although, he didn’t mind.

My friend had the pork chop, which she said was good. It was served on a bed of white rice and red beans. The only thing I tried from her dish was the tostones and they were also greasy. I did not finish the half of one that I tried.

Sadly, we did not get dessert (favorite course).

In conclusion, the presentation of the food was spot on. That being said, the quality of the food did not match the prices in my opinion. I was surprised by the amount of grease that impaired the grade of some of the food. Regrettably, I can’t say that I would go back.

Here is a picture of the take home Picanha dish prepared by the “chef”. Not sure who put the Chimichurri on the steak, but it should have been on the side. Maybe the “chef” had a bad day (Evening of 8/2/24, 6:30)!

This a beautiful spot for date night. The vibes are fun and the food was spectacular! The mushroom and goat cheese croquettes were perfect crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. The honey chipotle wings were so flavorful! My favorite dish was the Breaded Cod, that was cooked to perfection! My husband enjoyed the picanha and the cook on it was perfectly medium rare.

Our server Pilar was great very charismatic and attentive! She brought the perfect energy for the environment.
