Great place to take the kids for some typical Carvel ice cream. My only complaint is that they really need to do some serious maintenance to the building or it may not be there in another 10 years. Plus the fact that the locals in the apartment building across the street make getting into the parking lot a hassle. The owner is just too damn nice to enforce his own business’s parking rules.

Tonight I went in there for my daughters 12th birthday bought her a cone and asked her if she wanted anything else she saw a box with individual cups in it in a freezer and wanted them so I go to take them out and a little girl with dark curly hair that works there said sorry those aren’t for sale and I asked her why and she couldn’t provide a reason said employees only.. so apparently that freezer said employees only so I said ok no problem we will go somewhere else.. she said nothing the only thing that saved your store the sale tonight was the blonde girl said hey we have those over there another freezer so I bought them but that’s my last dollar I spend over here I’m in sales and how you treat people is number one.. that girl could have let us just take it and replace from other freezer I wouldn’t even know you had more if it wasn’t for the blonde girl stepping in to tell me.. I bought it reluctantly and they got my attitude the blonde girl didn’t deserve it though.. I live behind yall and will never return after tonight

The bubble tea drinks are ok. The staff seemed a bit confused when asked basic questions about the flavors; such as what is tart and sour to sweetness. Prices are higher than other shops, but not unreasonable. Cash and credit are both accepted. Street parking is available. 06/2024

I came to this carvel to pick up a custom made ice cream cake. carvel in Clifton is one of the locations that still does custom orders online . It was quick and easy when I came to pick up the ice cream cake . I ordered a small sheet cake .

This is the 3rd time we order medium milkshakes via Doordash and got smalls instead. I called this location to complain and APPARENTLY management changed the sizes. So a MEDIUM milkshake is now 12oz…. How does that even make sense? $9 for a 12oz milkshake. Literal robbery.
