The food and service at Dante's is outstanding! My family picked this place since it was close to all of us and we had an amazing time. From the wings, calamari, and burgers, all the food was amazing! 10 out of 10!

Lunch at Dante’s was incredible.
We started with the meatballs, tuna tartare, and Wagyu beef sliders — every appetizer was a hit. The meatballs were tender and full of flavor, the tuna tartare was fresh and perfectly balanced, and the Wagyu sliders were rich, juicy, and honestly hard to share.
For entrées, I had the beet salad with chicken — fresh, satisfying, and really well done. He ordered the salmon, which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor.
Dessert sealed the deal: ricotta cheesecake that was light and creamy, and zeppoles that were warm, fluffy, and impossible to stop eating.
Drinks were just as good — the lychee martini and mojito were both perfectly made.
Overall: amazing food, great drinks, and a lunch we’re already talking about going back! ✨

First time visiting Dates. My first impression was that it was a formal restaurant, but it's actually an upscale sports bar. The bar is large and modern with professional bartenders. My favorite drink was the cranberry mule. The decor is stunning, and the service is excellent. I'm a big meat lover, and the ribeye was incredible. I'll definitely be back.

GAME DAY PERFECTION!!! Incredible food, killer drinks, and an awesome atmosphere. We stopped in with friends before our daughter’s basketball game at Montclair State University and it was the perfect pregame spot, fun, welcoming, and relaxed. This is clearly the go to place before and after games. Already looking forward to coming back!

My wife and I ate at Dante’s on a Saturday evening. We had an amazing experience all around. We ordered several appetizers for the table. All were very tasty. Loved the butter that came with the bread. I ordered the burger and it was excellent. My son had the chicken parmigiana and enjoyed it. The drinks were delicious and atmosphere was perfect for the occasion.

I used to come here when it was Alexus and there are pros and cons of the new restaurant Dante's. To start, the food is fantastic and the service is great. Someone greeted me at the door whom I believe to be the owner, very nice pleasant gentleman. Me and my wife ordered calamari, two steaks and 6 drinks. The steaks and calamari were delicious. The atmosphere was nice, but it was a bit dry, no music, no decorations and the vibe of the previous restaurant were gone, but this is okay because they transitioned from more of a sports bar with good food to a restaurant that happens to have tv's with sports. I would highly recommend and will be back for the food, but its not a place I'd hang out and watch games at the bar for an extended period of time because the drink prices are on the high-end which is expected from a restaurant that doesn't want a loud bar area so patrons can enjoy their meal in peace. I'll be back for sure.
