Pleasantly surprised with my first time ordering! I had a hard time finding good portuguese food in Bergen County, but I was very satisfied with my order of chicken and ribs combo, small salad and cod fish cakes. The food was fresh, properly cooked and tasted great condiment and spices wise! It reminds me of restaurants in Portugal, where I never have to ask for salt or any other condiments, as the food is always on point. I'll definitely go back and try their fish and seafood dishes next time. I hope they keep the quality of food and the great preparation of the dishes!

Really don’t understand how there are 5 star reviews on this spot…. Missed opportunity…. Got a combo and was served the driest most questionable ribs I’ve ever had …..the rice was mediocre… the fries were decent but that’s not saying much…. This place needs to upgrade the quality of the food to stay relevant in a spot that has a ton of competition…..

It was our first time ordering for pick up. The food was delicious not overdone, and Tony is awesome. Sometimes the hole in the wall type of restaurants is the best and I would say we order from a lot of Portuguese or barbecue restaurants , I’m from originally from Newark and I know the best And this place is great, will def be backGee Taylor
I really wanted a nice rack of beef ribs and thought I would try here. it was on the menu for $15. About the time this old man took out his pen and paper and added all these different taxes. And 20% tip for himself My bill came to $23. I really wanted it. So I said OK well when I got home. I had to chew on that meat like it was gum. It might a smell good on the outside. Well, my stomach was hurting on the inside when I just gave up and gave it to my little dog.

Never even ordered. I was standing there for 10 minutes, and they never took my order I WILL NEVER BE BACK! The guy took 2 phone orders while I was standing there.
