The beer is decent. We had the Cherry Daedalion and the Beira. We were content with both. The smell of swamp dog was so over powering I couldn’t smell my beer....
We are in the area and love trying breweries. After a quick search of the local offerings, Ghost Hawk was at the top of the list. Ghost Hawk Brewing in Clifton, NJ, offers a solid selection of craft beers in a laid-back, unpretentious setting. While I’m not the biggest beer enthusiast, I can appreciate their creative twists on traditional styles, especially their chocolate and rum-infused IPAs.
These beers manage to balance the usual hoppy bitterness of an IPA with a smooth, rich flavor that’s definitely worth trying, even if you’re not typically an IPA person.
