Goldberg's Old Time Water Bagels

I personally think these guys make the best bagels in Clifton. They are big and tasty rather then kinda small like in some other places in town. Great sandwiches too.

I remember coming to this shop as a kid I was really looking forward to a nice hot bagel in the morning..I dug into mine right away .. unfortunately it had hair in the cream cheese. They replaced it but the rest of the order was messed up . Anyways but It's aparantly under new ownership. The current name is Deans. Despite the issues I'd go back the bagels are really great .. just make sure everything is right before I leave next time and ?for no extra ingredients in my cream cheese ?.

Quaint and easy

This place is awesome, been coming here since I was a kid. The woman who works the front is soooo sweet and the bagel are always fresh!! But MAINLY THE GIRL IN THE FRONT, super friendly and inviting and work quick and always smiling!! Shes awesome!

Back in the 60’s I used to leave CCJH and buy the best bagels from your store. My favorite were the pumpernickel and when they weren’t available the onion. Wish you could ship them here to me in Las Vegas. Sigh.

I’m not sure where all these reviews saying the service and food is great but that wasn’t our experience at all. The 2 women who were in there were rude and seemed as if the things we were asking for was inconveniencing them, even though we were the only customers in there. Then, they didn’t have a big selection of bagels to choose from, and then they kept messing up the bagels we were choosing. We had to correct them about what we were asking for. We also ordered 2 sandwiches, simple sausage egg and cheese and an egg white and bacon. Both orders were messed up and missing the ketchup and other condiments asked for. We were also confused because the outside sign said goldbergs but inside and on the door it said deans, so we aren’t sure what was happening there. We were really disappointed in this place and the service they provided to us. This is never getting our business again, which is a shame because we just started living in this area. Huge disappointment.
