I've had the chicken cutlet with prosciutto and the roast beef with fresh mozzarella. Both were fantastic and there's a lot more on the menu I want to try. A 6 in was $7.95 for a top tier sandwich. You can't even get that good of a deal at Jersey Mike's.

THE #6 is a colossal sub and should be famous. I have not had a sandwich this good with everything in it perfect. The bread amazing! The cold cuts top quality! Even the lettuce tomatoes and seasons were perfect. I can’t wait to go back but only problem will be what to get next.
The price is great as well. I could definitely could do the 1/2 but I’ll take 2 meals out of it.
Definitely worth a shot to try, I really don’t think you will be disappointed. Even their reviews are legit and honest.
ADD THE #3 to the list of amazing sandwiches! My only problem is I can only get here once a month and not close to my home .

It was the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten super fresh and tasty. Wish I took a picture but I ate it too fast LOL

Finally got a chance to go see Michael @il_postoeatery and got the #4. House made roast beef, house made mozzarella with au jus and hot peppers. I could only eat half but boy was this sandwich amazing. Thanks Michael I will be in again soon.

My husband and I came out to Clifton from NYC to grab some things we won from an auction and decided to grab some dinner on the way back at Il Posto’s. This was by far some of the best Italian I’ve had in a while. It holds up or out does any of the best sandwich shops in NYC. So many things are made fresh in house and you can tell. It was super flavorful and tasty. This is our new spot anytime we’re passing through. Everyone there was so nice and the lasagna and croquettes were just, *chef’s kiss* 🤌🏻
PS Didn’t try it, but I loved that they had a nespresso out with an array of different cappuccinos and espressos to try. Really great place all around.

I can Only speak to the Chix cutlet with Prosciutto and Mozzarella...AWESOME. I ask for chix warm, nice amount of Prosciutto and about a half in or more of mozz..now im craving one.

This was the BEST fresh mozzarella sandwiches I’ve ever had. The food was fresh and so flavorful.
The owner and the staff went above and beyond for me, I told them I had a food allergy and they went out of their way for me.
I will for sure be returning! I wish this business so much success!

We were passing through New Jersey and decided to stop somewhere for some lunch. My daughter looked up local places to eat and read the reviews for the ones that sounded interesting and we decided to give il Posto a try.
We ordered a few chicken parm sandwiches. We asked the gentleman who waited on us if we could get some extra sauce on the side because we like to dip. It turns out he was the owner of the shop and was also very friendly and welcoming. He tucked some extra large sauce containers in our bag at no extra charge.
The sandwiches and his sauce were really delicious. The portions were large and the prices quite reasonable. I only wish I had ordered some other items to try. I highly recommend this shop you won’t be sorry.
