What can I say. So good. Service / atmosphere /food. We ordered the Chef’s Roll, Salmon Skin, the Caterpillar and Pink Lady. They were all good but my favorite was the Chef’s Roll.The only critic I can add is that seating could be more comfortable. But otherwise just great food.

Our absolute favorite local sushi spot. The fish is impeccable quality, their salmon is particularly good, and the portions are quite generous for the price. Always a wonderful place to stop by for a quiet dinner, made all the nicer by the owners who are always kind and gracious.

We just moved to the area and we are so thrilled to have found this intimate sushi gem just a short walk away. We loved that the whole restaurant is a giant sushi bar/counter so it's fun to talk to the sushi chef/owner (James) and ask for his recommendations. Sushi was fresh and rolls were also delicious plus BYOB makes it even more enjoyable. It is also not overpriced so that's a major PLUS! We will definitely become regulars here!

This is a bar-style sushi restaurant best for dining alone or with a small group. Everything we had was amazing quality and the man and woman who served us were very friendly and patient.My friends enjoyed the Giant Roll but for me the Green Dragon was the best
I’ve lived in this area for about a decade and I almost don’t ever need to go anywhere else for take out food because market street has almost everything. I don’t often want sushi but I’d do like it. So I went to iso tonight because I felt like something fresh and I should try them since I’ve been here for so longIt’s very very good. Great place great service made the rolls right in front of me. I would recommend for anyone who lives in Clifton or especially right in the streets around it

We were drawn to this restaurant craving sushi one night because multiple people called it a gem. And that it is. An unassuming spot with a modest awning. We walked in and were pleasantly surprised to see a sole sushi bar for seating. We were greeted warmly and took our seats. We were immediately offered warm tea. That was really nice - like a toasted grain tea. The space was clean and comfortable. The music was a little mixed. Sometimes musicals, sometimes jazz covers. We ordered Sushi Deluxe and Dynamite Roll.The deluxe was made up of the perfect temp soft fish - salmon, tuna, a white fish and shrimp. Not too refrigerated or dry - moist and delicious. The dish came with spicy tuna roll and California roll, and the miso soup was delicious. We were surprised that the Dynamite Roll was served warm. It has some cooked white tuna on top. It was very delicious - but I was more in the mood for cooler bites. So we ended the meal with mango and green tea mochi. (Let it sit a little so it’s not too icy - and then enjoy each chewy bite.) I will definitely come back!
