I recently visited this restaurant on Sunday, March 23, and I was very disappointed by the attitude of one of the servers. Unfortunately, he was at the reception, where there were three of them, right in front of my table and kept staring at my wife, making inappropriate comments. This made our experience very unpleasant. The restaurant is quite small, which means that the servers can easily see the customers at each table. It is not acceptable for a server to fixate on a table where a woman is present inappropriately. I therefore recommend that future customers be cautious about this, as it can really ruin an evening. I hope they will take measures to improve their service .

This was beyond the worst service I’ve had in a long time … any request seemed like a huge problem for the servers. They were very rude and have no idea how to treat customers. And on top of that the servers committed fraud by adding an additional tip to my bill after I did not put any extra tip on top of the gratuity charge they add themselves . I will be reporting this restaurant and never returning here. I suggest you never waste your time or money eating with theses thieves.

I came here during Ramadan with my family ,I am a Muslim Black African American woman . I did not like their service , the Muslim woman who were in the restaurant who were a different (race) did not give me the Salams at all . I felt as though I did not belong there me and my family had to sit next to the bathroom when we had reservations for a different sitting area . We were ignored by the young female waitress multiple times. We were ignored when we were trying to wait for a table they sat other people in front of us who had no reservations. The food was good but over all the atmosphere was not comfortable. I do feel as thought they treat (blacks) differently and the Muslims that were their who come from the same culture as the owner stare at you and make you feel like you shouldn’t be in their resturant. I will not be returning we originally wanted to go to Kanoon a Muslim halal resturant not to far who treats all race of Mulsims equally ! Also on the weekends this is not a safe place to bring small children especially with the Hookahs burning down the walk through .Places like this make black people and black Muslims not wanting to support the business if you are going to run a resturant treat everyone equally and hire more friendly waitress !

First the outdoor seating was heated, then they Shut off the heating while sitting outside it got so cold. Blasted TV so loud it was hard to have a conversation on my table. Way Overpriced food and quality is mid I won’t say bad but 6.5-7/10. They charge card processing fees which you don’t see at other places. Aside from the 18% tips they take which is usually around 15% in other places. $700+ bill could have had a better time at many diff places in the area.
The waitress was overly talkative, to the point where it felt intrusive. Instead of letting us enjoy our meal or have a private conversation, she kept stopping by to chat about unrelated topics. It was uncomfortable and disrupted the dining experience. Good service means knowing when to give customers space, and unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here.

I was overcharged for my meal, and when I pointed it out, the staff argued with me instead of fixing it. It took 20 minutes to resolve, and they didn’t even offer an apology or compensation for the mistake.

We had high hopes for this place but were left thoroughly disappointed. We opted for outdoor seating, which was initially heated, but they turned off the heating, leaving us to shiver in the cold weather. To make matters worse, the TV was blasted so loud it was nearly impossible to have a conversation at our table. We had kids with us, which made the cold and chaotic environment even harder to bear.
The food was okay—nothing special, over priced for the quantity.
The staff were mostly rude and unaccommodating, making the night even more unpleasant. However, the Moroccan waitress who served us was a bright spot—she was kind and attentive, unlike the rest of the team. Overall, we won’t be coming back, especially since there are so many better options in the area.

We came to Kamil's Restaurant as a group of 5, wanting to drink tea, soda, and smoke hookah. No one said anything when we entered, and we sat down at the table. Since we didn’t order food, we were asked to leave. Apparently, we were supposed to spend $25 per person. I think forcing customers to leave just to make a few extra dollars is very unprofessional. Congratulations, you just lost a loyal customer.
It says open till 12 am and half an hour before they close all the service!
We got hookah and we never served charcoals before we ask and last half an hour we been left alone with almost an hour old charcoals!
Pretty much it was same to say get out of here!
On top of that they charge gratitude %18!!! FOR WHAT
Environment and hookah was great and I know some servers are very good too but my experience was the worst of all!!!

I called the restaurant on September 9th to make a reservation for September 14th for a party of 10. On the phone I was told I was all set and that it is a $25 minimum per person. Upon arrival, the staff said they did not have our reservation on file and that the outside is reservation only. We were told that we're more than welcomed to sit inside. When we went inside, it was empty. I felt as though it was not my fault that they did not have my reservation, the staff even asked if I was sure if I called the right place. I pulled up my recent call log to show proof. When we were finally seated inside, they sat us way in the back. No one ever came to our table to take our order for an entire hour. We didn't have cups, we weren't given water. Just completely ignored. The place wasn't even at full capacity. There were a lot of open seating. We had to flag down one of the hookah guys to get our order taken. I feel as though we were treated as such because we were Black Muslims. I felt uncomfortable the entire night. I will never come back to the establishment again. Even while sitting and eating our food, one of the workers asked us if we were African??? Super weird. Super uncomfortable. Super unprofessional.
EDIT: The reply is a lie! We were seated at 6:30 and no one came to our table until 7:30 and that is only because my brother got up and talked to someone to serve us. And also I forgot to add that yall tried to play in our face, and it took a lady to say something to yall to get us seated. And if you dont take reservations, why wasnt that said when I initially called? Instead I was told I was all set and there's a $25 minimum per person. If yall dont take reservations, why did yall continue to ask me if I was the party of 10 that had two children? If yall dont take reservations, how come the hostess in the front had paper with a list of names on it?
Take accountability for yall bullshit and be honest. And to be completely honest, the chef is too heavy handed with the vinegar, your food is not all that!

I’ve been here multiple times because the food and atmosphere is always great but I went today for my anniversary and the service was atrocious. The restaurant wasn’t that busy but our waitress was nowhere to be seen most of the night and we would have to ask multiple times for things before we actually got it. I probably spent an extra hour sitting there just waiting for to go boxes and the check. The check had an automatic 18% gratuity added even though it was only 2 of us, I guess that allows them to gives less than service and still be guaranteed money because I absolutely would’ve left a smaller tip. The food and atmosphere was still good but the service has me questioning if I will return in the future unfortunately.
