The counter help doesn't understand English too well, which is challenging. I find often they are out of many items. last night I had the potatoes and roasted garlic and they tasted like only potato, in the past most of what they had was good I don't know if it's new ownership, but I'll have to just wait and try another package. See what happens.

I walked into the store today and immediately turned around and went back outside thinking I walked into the wrong place. Although the large sign says Homemade Pirogi still hangs above the door, the inside has been transformed into a Latin market/restaurant. Luckily someone who worked there came out to get me and told me they sell pirogis. Main difference is they weren't fresh. They sell them frozen now.

Love love these pirogis!!! Best ever!!!! I'm from Point Pleasant where they are sold at a deli there but since moved to Virginia. Everytime family visits or I visit I bring home 12 bags at least!!! So glad you are still making them!!

The only time I'm disappointed in their product is when they are sold out of it! Excellent pirogi- the mushroom with mascarpone cheese are heavenly and the potato cheese are the best around. Delicious filling and super light dough.
