I’ve lived in the neighborhood for 30 years and this place use to be one of the best bagel shops in the area. Unfortunately one of the owners passed away and it is now under new ownership.(R.I.P. George)The service has suffered tremendously since the change and the food isn’t nearly as good as it used to be. Hopefully they can turn it around and get it back up to par. They have some big shoes to fill… Good Luck!

I ordered a turkey and ham sub from menu that said turkey and ham or roast beef $8.95 but price came total $13.31 and said $3.75 for extra ham. I asked why it was extra when menu said differently and guy said they just took over and haven't updated menu yet. I said that should be stated when ordered. Spoke with customer that was there and he said the service has went down, which explains it. And with them charging extra for ham they give you slices. It's a good chance I won't be coming back. For the price they charge I can get better service and food quality.

I usually go during the weekend with my daughter to get the same exact order. I told the young lady exactly what we wanted which is a cold sub turkey long, and we also asked for a Mango smoothie. Smoothie was the first time ordering. When we got the Smoothie and my daughter tried it, she right away said “mom this doesn’t taste like Mango, it taste like Pineapple” my daughter is allergic to pineapple. I told the lady “I’m sorry does this have pineapple” and she says “it is pineapple” and I told her “I’m sorry but we ordered a Mango smoothie and my daughter is allergic to pineapple” she grabbed the smoothie turned around to go tell someone but did not apologize or anything of the sort. The sandwich as well we order light on the vinegar and oil - it had absolutely none and no mayo. To confirm my order was 371 on 08/24/2024

What is this bagel? Honestly this place keeps getting worse and worse over the years. Their bagels, if you can even call them that, keep getting smaller and smaller. The taste is so bland. Just terrible bagels. This is supposed to be an everything bagel. This is the only “bagel” place that I’ve been to that sells you a glorified roll as a bagel.
I’m done buying poppyseed/sesame seed rolls. I really wish Hot Bagels Abroad was closer to me. When you buy an everything from them, you actually get an everything that’s seasoned on both sides. Plus they taste way better.

On 6.19.2024 I placed an order for bacon egg and cheese on a toasted crossaint. The young lady by the name of M.Thomas gave me number 35. I went inside and gave my number 35 to the owner's wife and she handed me the sandwich. I did not look at the ticket on the sandwich bag and I headed onto work. Got to work and ready to have my breakfast and it was the wrong order. I then looked at the ticket and it had someone else's name on it. I called the store to let them know I received the wrong order. I finally spoke to Paul who told me to take a picture of the ticket number and he will make it right. However, after hanging up the owner's wife who works the cash register called me back and argued with me stating that I should have looked at the ticket number before i left the store and she was NOT GOING TO GIVE ME Another SANDWICH OR my MONEY BACK. To me its not even about the money or the sandwich at this point. It's the rudeness and mannerisms in which she called and was behaving about their mistake and taking accountability. I will return the sandwich and will NEVER step foot in that place. She can have the sandwich and money because it's not going to me richer or poorer.
I read your response. First and foremost I didn't even have my phone with me because I left in my car. Secondly. I did make contact the with cashier when I have her my $10. Gave her a tip and took the bag from her. So please review your security camera for the morning. Yes I did went back to the bagel shop and returned the sandwich and told her she was very disgusting to be calling me on the job and told me she's not going to replace the sandwich or my money. So I told her it's not going to make me any richer or poorer and to take accountability for her worker mistake. That's what good customer service is all about which she's lacking. Therefore. I don't know who you guys are looking at on your security camera. I would love for you guys to post the footage showing me on my phone and then we will know who's lying. And yes I push the sandwich of the counter to her. It was mine to do whatever I want to do. Always remember to be KIND.COURTEOUS AND TREAT CUSTOMER WITH RESPECT. THAT WILL BE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Please avoid this location at all times. They sell tiny bagels and charge you as if they were big regular bagels. Almost $8 for 2 creme cheese bagels? Insane. I will take my business elsewhere where they will treat me like an actual customer and not rip me off with a tiny o’l kids menu bagel. Please do not buy food here you are giving away money.
