Terrible Pick up?? Got Steak and Fries which was fine, but the Cavatelli and broccoli (which I’ve gotten before,) was terrible!!! Borderline inedible, like pasta and boiled broccoli was thrown together with olive oil. No flavoring at all. and reminded me of a microwave dish.

Especially love the baked ziti here, but all of their pasta is excellent. Some of my favorite dishes here are the Ravioli, Eggplant Parmesan and the Lasagna. The restaurant has a comfy interior with tables or booths and a bar too if you want to drink or watch a game. The sautéed vegetables are super delicious.

I used to go to this place 35 years ago it was old then it's even older now the bar area is cold the decor in the entire restaurant is old my advice is tear down this restaurant Mr Gorbachev

If you have any allergies be aware. They do not list ingredients properly. Had to call an ambulance and was in the ER. I called them right away after tasting hazelnuts in the cake. It was not listed on the menu. They stated that there was hazelnuts in it. I called today to make sure they add it to their menu. Then they changed their story saying there wasn’t hazelnuts in the ingredients. Not okay.

I don’t usually write reviews but as a Clifton resident I feel a need to let other residents know . First of all we came on Sunday late evening , place had more employees than customers . 10 minutes after being seated we ended up leaving as nobody approached us . Can’t say anything about food as obviously we wanted but didnt get to try.

The experience was wonderful! The pizza is one of the best pizzas I tasted so far! It was delicious! The service was nice and the place is great! I definitely recommend Mario's place!

I’ve been coming here with my family for over 30 years. We’ve had birthdays and christenings and many many family dinners here. Food is always wonderful, old school atmosphere, and great staff. Love it here.

Friendly restaurant with tasty food and great Jersey ambiance. They accommodated our group of 20 comfortably and efficiently, and our server was amazingly calm, cheerful, and totally accurate! We mainly ordered pizzas, salads, and beverages. Pizzas were very good and not greasy, with fresh toppings. Crust was good but not outstanding. Salad dressing was very good. People who ordered other dishes (like meatballs or eggplant) also seemed happy. Overall, a delightful place with plenty of free parking in a big lot across the street, so no stress there either.

I recently ordered pizza. When I say stingy with the toppings would be an understatement. Literally dissatisfied with my pizza. No offense food is good but it’s not worth the money for pizza that you order topping and get like one or two pieces per slice.
