Terrible , our team had been using them for over 30 years and the lack of responsiveness has just went out window. No communication whatsoever and honestly the quality of the food was trash too!

Rob has done multiple beefsteaks for me over the years. The food is always top notch! Everyone always asks who did the beefsteak and compliment the quality and flavor. Having run a number of non profit/charity events over the years, Rob is by far the easiest to work with, and when Mrs. Nightingale is at your job, you know your job is going to run super smooth from the catering side of things. I can say enough good things about Nightingale Catering. There’s a reason why they’ve been in business for 85 years.

At an event now. This business went down hill and made it just about business. Left a plate on the table and waited and waited and waited. Came and brought another plate. Then waited and waited and waited. Then they came around ( not our table allot others 1st of course) and served person to person to person, continuing to slow the process down. But the fries kept on coming. My dad was the President of company # 3 FD in EP for over 20 years and this place was the bomb. Not so much anymore. I’ll give you this the 1st 2 rounds, the meat was very overcooked and tough. The 3rd round was how it use to be. Go back to the old way cause it def isn’t how it use to be!Respectfully,Steve.

I grew up having beefsteak on our deck a few times each summer with my family and friends. For many years my father, Edmund Dabagian, worked for the Nitingale Catering Company. He was able to purchase the loins directly from the caterer. I don't know if that's common. Does Nitingale still own the company?

Left multiple messages trying to book catering. Am a loyal customer and have had them come to my house more then 6 times. The answering machine even says “we’ll get back to you”. Even texted the owner, Rob directly. So very disappointed.

Just got home from a beefsteak in Clifton catered by Nightingale. Being a firefighter for over 35 years I have been to many a party and just the mention of Nightingale you sold out. What happened??? Tonight was a complete disaster. The meat was way way below the quality I would expect. But as bad as the meat was the staff was horrible. First our table never received our pasta next we never received the bowl of pickles and olives. When we finally got someone’s attention we asked who is our server “I don’t know was the answer. We told him we did not receive the ziti and olives he just stared at us and walked away We never received them at all. When we received our meat it was on a plate that did not go far. The second tray came out with no bread just beef on Russo paper. We watched many tables get 4 or 5 trays and we were still waiting. Received only 11/2 plates of fries for the entire night. Without a doubt the worst experience I have had with nightingale. Whoever was in charge should be fired because after that poor performance Hap is rolling over in his grave !!!!!! Great quality I’m a former employee with nightingale hands-down the owners of the company Rob and Bob nice individuals really kind care about their employees haven’t worked there for a while but I’ve been to a few beef steaks since then the beef always fresh waiters always on their toes and Rob always making sure each customer is concerns is taken care of highly recommend this catering company for any event anyone may have!

Delicious! We have ordered from Nightingale's on many occasions and it's always excellent. The filet is always cooked perfectly and they could not be more accommodating.

Meat was kind of bland and a bit tough. A client of mine from Franklin Lakes swore by it, but I'm convinced he knew the owners. We had a family gathering catered and woman dropping off our food was unpleasant and unprofessional. I asked for napkins and extra cutlery and got witchy attitude. WTH? The meat itself was blah- many pieces tough, others rare as heck. Some pieces felt like eating a piece of charcoal. And fries were like some cruddy diner's overcooked french fries.And the cost? it wasn't cheap.Never again!!!!
