We were excited to try Rumba Cubana Clifton after hearing great things. While the food was good, the experience was ruined by the behavior of the staff. As we sat and ate, a few waiters started making rude, body-shaming comments about my partner in Spanish—clearly assuming we wouldn’t understand. They even questioned why I would be with someone like her.
What made it even worse was that nearby guests overheard and laughed along, which made the situation even more uncomfortable and humiliating. We stayed because we had already ordered, but the disrespect was shocking. No one deserves to be treated that way. We won’t be back, and I hope management takes this kind of behavior seriously.

Rumba really does make me want to dance! The delicious food is certainly one reason to go but the ambiance is another. Very classy but fun place y la comida es muy rico tambien!! 5/5 will go again!

Saturday April 12, 2025 Was my uncle's birthday dinner, we weee a group of about 26 people, we selected one of the group menu options which was perfect, but I don't understand why they didn't put water in our tables, we needed to ask the waiters and they were bringing the water in glass, one by one instead of putting pitchers on the tables, also I think they count the paper napkins because when they brought the dessert, not even one, and when I asked they have me like 5 for the whole table. The service was not the best one, they seemed to be even in. And mold at the beginning. We deserved a better customer service, I would never go back to the place or recommend it to anyone. They have to do better. We paid $75 per person
