GREAT food at good prices, with very attentive owners who always seem to be on-site—which is something you love to see. Even when it gets busy, they’re on top of everything and the service stays fast.
I definitely recommend this spot to anyone in the area. The only downside is that there’s no sign or decor out front, and a place this good really deserves to stand out. If you’re near Paterson or Clifton, just go—you won’t regret it.

August 18,25
Not very friendly at all!
.I did ask to taste the salad because it seemed like all of them are cabbage with mayo, just a different color, but they did allow me to taste. Yes
I ordered the Moreva platter, Yes this was yesterday August 18th, 25.
The whole platter 100% was Chicken Liver 100% which is the cheapest thing. You can get a plate for $3. He said it would take 15 minutes. It took less than 3 minutes to cook and be packaged. I called the owner and explained there's no chicken, no lamb, no beef. He was not apologetic. He basically said I made it even though he's not the one who made it. Very disappointed. Not honest. Not Islamic. Again 100% chicken liver 100%..
I do not! do not recommend going to this restaurant!

Hands down my most favorite place to eat food at! Brother Wally is such a kind hearted person who truly loves making food for his customers! Portions are generous and while prices have gone up due to inflation, they’re still relatively low compared to what others are charging. I would pay for the quality of food and this place has it!

A Hidden Gem on Getty Avenue!♥️💚🖤🌺🌺🌺
I can't say enough great things about this restaurant! Located on 600 Getty Avenue in Clifton, this family-owned gem serves some of the most delicious and satisfying food around. From perfectly seasoned chicken and shawarma, to crispy fries, gooey mozzarella sticks, juicy chicken tenders, and even a thoughtful kids menu—they truly have something for everyone.
The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are more than fair—you get amazing value for what you pay. It’s rare to find such quality and quantity at such reasonable prices.
What really sets this place apart, though, is the outstanding customer service. The staff is incredibly kind, welcoming, and respectful. You can feel the warmth the moment you walk in. They truly treat everyone like family and go out of their way to make people from all cultures and backgrounds feel welcome.
Whether you’re dining in with your family or grabbing something quick, you’ll feel the love and care they put into every meal. This spot deserves all the praise—highly recommend supporting this hardworking, generous, and inclusive family business!

The best and most tasty in the area. I live 1 min away from here and I go almost everyday. The chicken shnitzel platter tastes amazing, with the variety of vegetables as well. Highly recommended if you live in north Jersey /nyc area

Rude Staff, Bland Food — Not Worth It
If you're thinking of trying this place, do yourself a favor and don’t — unless you’re just in the mood for a decent salad sides.
I called over 30 times to place an order ahead, knowing they take forever (30+ minutes) to prepare food. No one answered. They later tried to blame it on me calling from a private number — I didn’t. I even called again while inside the restaurant, and watched the staff deliberately ignore the phone. He wanted to blame it on being busy but at that moment he wasn’t.
When I brought it up, the guy was incredibly rude and defensive, with zero professionalism or basic customer service. As per the owner, he “doesn’t pick up numbers that have no name on it.” I never knew a restaurant that runs like that. People also have valuable time and when they are placing an order it’s not only contributing to them but the establishment.
It’s not the first time I’ve dealt with this. I have honestly done this before when they have ignored my calls when I order and I only order for my sister whom comes from NY to visit but her taste buds are meh:/ Even my sister reported, her trying to call for an order ahead of time while driving from Staten Island to Clifton and was ignored at a different time. She called for 40 minutes straight.
As for the food: If you want bland, dry meat, this is the place. Chicken shawarma? Tasteless. The meat? Just as bad. The kofta extremely dense. Honestly, the only thing worth eating is the salad — but even that can’t make up for how poorly they treat people.
Don’t waste your time or money here.
