Very disappointed with my experience here. We came here a party of four and right away they start putting food on the table we had eaten already but I thought maybe it's better to just accept the dinner service instead of the cover charge. They just started being the food and the food was ok. They charged four people $250 for food if I would have ordered would not have cost more than $150. They factor in the charges of the employees and the singer understandable. But what made me angry was the automatic 18 percent gratuity that they charged which I find very offensive. Usually when a party of 6 or more gratuities are charged automatically. Anyway the singer was meh and he was catering to a mostly Syrian and Lebanese crowd. I told the manager or head waiter that I didn't like being charged this gratuity fee and he really didn't care what I felt. Not coming here again

Clifton/Paterson is definitely the spot for your Middle East cuisine cravings. There are sooo many options to choose from however, Sultan is amongst the few that is fresh, tasty, clean and reasonably priced. We visited a couple of weeks back on a late Sunday afternoon. We were the only table in the restaurant but better for us (due to the pandemic). Prior to the pandemic, we had visited on multiple occasions. We order a bunch of starters like hummus, fatush, babaganush, tabulleh, chi kofte and all were prepared up to satisfaction. You receive a very sufficient portion of each and enough to share amongst a family of 4-5. For entrees, we ordered mixed grill and half chicken. The chicken is always so flavorful and moist. Staff is always professional however, there are times we find it's difficult to get the attention of our server. It's usually when the restaurant picks up, that it's not sufficient to have only one employee on the floor. Other than that, service is okay. To add, staff had on masks and gloves at all times.
What even is this place? Nobody acknowledges you. They have waiters just walking around not looking anyone in the eye. My first time here and i'll be back never.

If I can give them 0 stars cuz there not even worth one star ! I came all the way from a different state and I made reservations for me and me and my family and Just because another family came and wanted to sit on our table they literally Forced us to leave ! I was so shocked. How rude and disgusting to force us to leave and we had already made reservations!!

The chicken tenders are magnificent, I’ve never had a chicken tender so juicy and crunchy. I asked for French fries and they were exquisite and the tomato ketchup made it even better. I asked what else was on the kids menu and I was told chicken nuggets were also on the menu. I exclaimed, “bring me the nugs’’ and I was given the best nuggets I have ever eaten in my life. The hookah was really good too. Wish their was a hookah that made you high.
