I don't know, but they have changed their seasoning, I ate a burrito recently and it wasn't like before and today I went to eat a green enchiladas and I didn't like it. What a shame, I hope they improve it.

I hope the owners see this and make a change, the waitress with glasses is super rude, don’t greet customers and serves them with bad attitude, she overcharged and served the food with missing items, when asked about she laughed and said well i don’t knowDon’t come when she’s serving because bad experience is guaranteed

I hope the owner reads this. Your workers are rude and could not take one simple order of three items and on top of that she's like are you done yet? I'm sorry but I'm paying for the food you are not gifting to me!! If they don't like the job find yourself one that you do.

This place always hits the spot! Food is good quality. Portions are always large. And the taste is always spectacular! Definitely my favorite mexican spot in clifton/passaic.

I kept seeing them on my Facebook feed so decided to give them a try. Service wasn't a big rave. Took some time to place an order had to ask for your common sides (lime for the pozole, no oregano, no lettuce, sauce was only what they had in the squeeze bottle for tacos.) Heard good things about their tacos though, so hopefully have a better experience with that.

Your website says closes at 10, Google maps says closes at 10, Google search says closes at 10. Place a call at 730. No we close at 8. So you can't order not even for pick up. Good bye.......click!

Tacos Matamoros has really good Mexican food. It's pretty close to authentic Mexican food. The only thing is there is no parking lot & parking could be a little tricky. Also the place is really small. They only have about 2-3 bulky wooden tables for sitting. The prices are a little high but considering how expensive groceries have gotten & how good the food at this restaurant is, that's okay.If you like my reviews check out my novel-A Is for Adults-on Amazon Kindle

Don't let old, poor reviews deter you. If it was like that then, I can't speak for that but now, it was absolutely delicious. Ordered ahead to eat in for our lunch break, table was set up as soon as we got there. If you're looking for nopales BTW, this is the place to get them. I've never actually been to a place locally that has them that I can think of. I got an order of 4 chorizo tacos ($9!!!! Amazing!!) and the others got the bistec azteca. All items came w/ nopales, but one of us had asked for them. Chorizo tacos might've been better with two tortillas instead of one because they were filled to the brim but honestly I can't complain. Sometimes chorizo tacos are wayyyy too greasy and make a huge mess but these are perfect. Horchata is also great in my opinion because it's not overly sweet or gritty like many places.

The abuelitas here are great, friendly and always prompt. They make their corn tortillas from scratch and I could honestly say it's better than a lot more famous taco places in the tri-state area. Highly recommend the jamaica agua fresca, cabeza and carnitas tacos.
